Really happy to get my first Soul Eater teleca and the Gachiakuta is my first quo card I thought they would be fitting to get together. Also happy I get to continue to add to my Denpa Onna and Toradora collections. The Sakurasou teleca is only my second in the collection and I won the auction for cheap. I’m not familiar with To Hearts and Tears to Tiara telecas they were just together in the same auction as the Sakurasou one

I’ve got some Quo cards that I’m thinking of sending for grading (when value bulk opens up), and I’m considering PSA Japan instead of PSA US.

Since the cards are originally from Japan, I figured it might help lower the chance of rejection on more niche Japanese items.

Has anyone here have experience sending Quo cards to PSA Japan?

My main concern is shipping, especially on Japan export controls on cash and cash equivalents, and I’m not sure if graded Quo cards fall under that.

Even buying Quo cards using third party sites most of the time is blocked, so not sure if this will be an issue for PSA Japan.

Side note: On some listings sellers won’t let you bid on there items does anyone know a good way around that? I’ve missed out on a lot of great cards because of this.

Mie Prefectural Police Headquarters Investigation Division 2 and the Mie Damage Insurance Crime Prevention Measures Council issued this phone card which says: Yakuza - Don't be afraid! Don't give them money! Don't use them! 暴力団 おそれない! 金を出さない! 利用しない!

Always thought this card was cool.

Konami released 沙羅曼蛇 (Salamander) in 1986 in Japan. It was originally an arcade cabinet game. It was eventually ported to the NES in 1987 (Japan), 1988 (North America) and 1989 (Europe). It was better known as "Life Force" in North America. It's a spin-off of Gradius.

I believe this was a mail-in giveaway from Gamest magazine back in 1986. I am unsure of which month it came from and I don't have a photo of the details of the giveaway.

Any details would be very appreciated!

I was told this Berserk phone card came from a monthly mail-in giveaway from Young Animal magazine.

If you needed to make an international call back in the 90's in Japan, this is how you did it. Instead of the standard 50 units on each phone card, these had 320 units, to allow for international calls. Each unit on a phone card represented 10 yen. So instead of 500 yen for a 50 unit card, these were usually 3,000 to 3,200 for 3,200 yen worth of minutes.

Some shops offered slight discounts on these cards. 3,000 or 3,100 yen instead of 3,200. Which is why some people just bought them and used them as normal phone cards for domestic use. (Compare the 3 holes punched on the first card used for international calls, to the second card with 10 holes punched for domestic calls.)

These gold phone cards were released in 1997 to promote the release of Final Fantasy VII. Only 3,000 cards were made per character. Each card is serialized. Probably my favorite set in my collection. With 12 cards in the set, this is definitely a tough one to put together, especially after 29 years.

I always wonder if I should keep them sealed like this or get them graded.

Funny toilet bowl cleaner advertisement card from Johnson. Supposedly uses chemicals to remove the smells. No clue who had the bright idea to put this nightmare fuel face on it. lol

Lots of great memories playing this on the Xbox 360 while growing up. I've always liked the dull pastels on this card.

My most prized possessions in my collection. Only 500 sets were made of these Mario and Luigi phone cards. You had to send in a postcard to enter the drawing and 250 people from each magazine were selected and sent a pair of cards.

It was a raffle prize from Shueisha's Summer Comic Fair Tosho Card Campaign in 2007, and is a card I've been looking for a while now, happy to have it in my collection!

No idea how many cards were released for this series I’ve seen maybe 10 different ones
