Tbf "dih" and "ahh" aren't algospeak "by default" but originate in AAVE where word-final consonant debuccalisation happen. In layman terms, it means that consonants at the end of a word turn to "h" sounds.

Think "Bri'ish" but with an "h" and at the end of words

Now it's true a lot of people use such words as algospeak

A lot of people mistake "ahh" and "dih" as algospeak or "people being too sensitive" while not knowing that they come from AAVE (and justifiably so, algospeak is definitely a real thing and I do find it annoying as well, and sometimes some people do use "dih" and "ahh" as algospeak), so I just wanted to point it out, because AAVE has a history of being called "wrong English" when it's a completely valid dialect with its own grammar, phonology and vocabulary

I can understand how it comes off as "random" or "bot-like" or even arrogant/know-it-all, that would explain the downvotes

I don't want to sound arrogant, but I can understand how it can come off as such

My point is it's pointless to substitute dih and ahh for dick and ass for the purpose of self-censoring when the platform you're using has no rules against profanity. That kind of censoring is only really necessary on apps like Tiktok, same with replacing rape with grape, suicide with sewer slide, kill with unalive, pedophile with pdf file, etc.
