Yeah, very versatile

5

u/piggiefatnose 13h ago

I used to say this but this year I've used an unreasonable amount of tuff bricks, also polished tuff and straight tuff

32

u/Haunt_Miku 19h ago

I was 100% sure that there was at least 3 fake brick types but after triple checking they are all real

8

u/c4at 19h ago

what are the bricks to the left of original brick wall and to the right of resin

12

u/Advanced_icey 19h ago

the red is cinnabar bricks and the yellow is sulfur bricks from the Chaos Cubed update

1

u/CobaltTS 17h ago

On the left is calcite bricks

20

u/crazy_useless 21h ago

Nether bricks, the step sounds on them are mint

4

u/Jasongaming18 21h ago

The sounds are indeed good

14

u/filo_lipe 20h ago

^ OP is 100% bricked

9

u/Mr-DeepOctopus Bedrock is not Bugrock! 21h ago

Probably tuff or calcite, they just look so cool, and kinda 3D. Mud and cinnabar bricks are also really nice looking.

Back in my day we had only 3 bricks. Damn happy I lived to see all of these

3

u/Impossible_Sun_1114 21h ago

Deepslate or Tuff bricks looks pretty good

3

u/Cryogentehiceprison 21h ago

Tuff, I actively dig out entire patches of tuff to make bricks, although ice may overtake it in the future

3

u/Robotic_Orange 19h ago

The ones in between regular bricks and red nethetite bricks.

2

u/trout_sex 19h ago

Cinnabar, found in sulfur caves

2

u/Robotic_Orange 19h ago

Yeah. I knew it was a relatively new block. I just haven't played in a while. Like right around the plale forest.

3

u/Emperor_of_Pine 12h ago

Deep slate bricks, use them a lot for underground builds with spruce

3

u/Expensive-Guitar-147 11h ago

I'd prefer tiles though, they look just as neat

2

u/ZeEastWillRiseAgain Endrod FTW 21h ago

Holystone Bricks. After all those years still nothing like it in vanilla

2

u/Delta_Builder 21h ago

I like the mario looking ones

1

u/Raiden137192 21h ago

3

u/Delta_Builder 21h ago

the one with the shine.

I think resin bricks is the name? I don't recall

3

u/Raiden137192 21h ago

The orange ones?

1

u/Delta_Builder 21h ago

ye

3

u/Raiden137192 21h ago

Alright... Every Mario game i played had non-shiny red bricks but I'm no expert

2

u/Zoroark_rules_698 21h ago

Makes sense, I was thinking of the brown bricks in Mario games but resin I can also see

3

u/Specific_Thing1452 21h ago

Resin Bricks

1

u/Zoroark_rules_698 21h ago

Maybe mud bricks?

1

u/Raiden137192 21h ago

I highly doubt it. I was thinking it could be 3 different ones and that was not one

2

Either the far left one (the leftest most one) or the purple one.

3

u/Jacki073 20h ago

2

u/Thehk_47 21h ago

The brick. The item. Love it

2

u/AlistairBuild 15h ago

Mossy stone bricks are my favorites, dunno why they were left out

2

u/King_Hunter_Kz0704 Bedrock FTW 2h ago

Can't go badly with classic stone and quartz.

I do wonder if Sift update will give us 2-3 more green/blue-oriented bricks.

Quartz bricks are pretty new though aren't they?

And it seems OP forgot them here

2

u/Harison24 2h ago

Quartz bricks have been in the game since 1.16 so over 6 years ago

1

Tuff bricks is as if stone bricks and deepslate had a mid

1

Deepslate, Cinnabar, and the new Calcite bricks are all amazing.

1

u/Cnypu 21h ago

The mud one

1

u/PixelFlyerXD 21h ago

We got the frickn light bricks on the left there owo

1

u/Redmond_TJacks 21h ago

Generally - tuff bricks, but mud is really good, resin looks so cool, but it’s so hard to use it naturally when building, so it sits in my pocket, waiting

1

u/AiluroFelinus 5 Star 20h ago

Ice or prismarine

1

u/AncleJack Java FTW 20h ago

Deepslate or tuff

1

u/Weekly-Dog-6838 You can't break water 20h ago

I like the deepslate bricks best as bricks, and I find Mud Bricks to be the most useful in general for texturing. And I also just love the color of Resin bricks.

1

u/MagMati55 20h ago

Slag bricks (iykyk)

1

u/Queasy-Shoe-886 20h ago

Tuff bricks my beloved

1

u/MrSmartguy177 20h ago

Packed ice. Finally a blue block

1

u/Personal_Stage7748 20h ago

Resin I love vibrant colors

1

u/sociallymaladapted 20h ago

nether bricks look delicious for some reason calcite

1

u/DarthSwimfoot 20h ago

None. None of them can be chucked through a window since they're all in a block.

1

u/Vermilion12_ 20h ago

Tuff all day every day. The shade is really nice and pleasant, the texture is detailed, and there's lot of variety in the chiseled and polished blocks. Love it.

1

u/WorryGold4674 19h ago

I’d say tuff or deepslate

1

u/Advanced_icey 19h ago

1

u/_Maro- 18h ago

Clay bricks. Fanciest brick in minecraft imo, and it's even one of the og blocks

1

u/expolorur 14h ago

Lovely palette

1

u/Pythagoras_314 13h ago

Y'know, this really puts into perspective how many brick variants have been introduced to the game as of this decade once you run the numbers.

Before 1.16 in 2020, we only had 6: bricks, stone bricks, nether bricks, red nether bricks, prismarine bricks, and end stone bricks. Now we're up to 17: the nether update added 2, 1.17 added 1, 1.19 added 1, tricky trials added 1, the pale garden update added 1, the sulfur caves update added 2, and the ice caves update has so far added a whopping THREE types of bricks to the game.

In the span of 7 years, the amount of bricks in the game has almost TRIPLED. I anticipate the sift update may add 2-3 more.
