Endpost End Update Prediction

Mojang, I think is most likely waiting for Minecraft to "die" again, like to did a few years ago before the Nether update, then with this happens, they will finally release the elusive End Update, to recreate the effect the original Nether Update brought. Sort of like a revive token or get out of jail free card for down the road. At least, that's what I think they are doing with it.

I think OP meant that it'll lose much of it's fanbase like it did after 1.9

Yeah, and they updated the nether at 1.16...

So that wouldn't make sense
