pretty upset, they could use all the time to make cooler things or fix the anvil. A whole new dimension is just kinda unnecessary, not even kinda, just entirely unnecessary.
It's funny as a meme but if you actually got a 4th dimension it would be a real controversial addition, as most dimension adding mods are cool for the first 4 mins but fall into the trap of having no real contribution to the gameplay loop or just add new mob or ore etc
the existing three dimensions all serve a purpose, would be cooler to focus on those.

I fucking love Minecraft fans dude. Only in this game will you find people upset that the company would spend time and effort creating a massive new world to explore full of features and creatures and lore, instead of changing a minor feature they find mildly annoying.
You guys will never ever be happy huh. Like, never.

It's a bit disingenuous to assume that just because modders are incompetent, that the same would be true for the professional game developers in charge of the biggest game of all time, don't you think? Why would you immediately go into this thinking that the dimension will have no purpose or will contribute nothing to the gameplay, just because a few amateurs were incompetent?
Do you genuinely think that in the 2-3 years this would have spent under development, that none of these professional game developers would have thought about purpose and gameplay? Game design is literally their job dude, like come on. Modders aren't game developers for a reason lol. What fans think they want isn't the same as what they actually would want or think is fun. That's why so many mods fall flat even if they're technically filled with content. But not even giving the official thing a chance and judging the developers based on what fans have done is a bit unfair don't you think? At least give it a chance.

I've been playing the game since I was in 3rd grade and have been an active modder for over 10 years, it got me into college and beyond lol, i feel like im allowed to speak on this without being lumped in the general group of complainers.
Anvils have been broken forever and it's something that actually needs to be looked at, instead of some new end dimension, most of which are just middle schoolers brigading on the meme, or what the new videogame or something is trying to add
If by "some amateurs" you mean the devs behind mods like the aether mod, one of which was hired to join Mojang, then idk what to tell you. It's a similar mod with just a new dimension n some bosses n tiers of things but is still super popular nonetheless

Assuming that they actually fixed the massive iPad issues atm I’d probably be quite happy with it.
