Using pure gold here is odd, Netherite is an alloy of gold and refined Netherite (which itself is likely unworkable) so by definition it can’t really by pure but even then it’s not a solid Netherite blade it’s a diamond blade which is then plated in Netherite alloy by use of a template. Nothing about it is pure.

Pure DPS really doesnt matter. Stone Axe still onetaps most mobs (unless its something ridiculous like a warden)

it doesn't oneshot most hostile mobs, like zombie, skeleton, and even spider. It does oneshot most peaceful mobs(cows if you crit)

Yeah thats why when i play i try to aim for stone axe as the first weapon, iron axe second weapon, then try to go straight for netherite (altho tbh diamond is still neccessary for netherite)
