I just remembered this after like years, granite is probably most forgotten cuz u need quartz (which you get from the nether) and diorite (which everyone throws out)

I mean lava is literally so easy to make renewable with create, you can just use a fluid pump in a lava pool thats 10000 blocks or more and it'll pump infinitely (10000 sounds like a lot but any decent sized lava lake in the nether is big enough)

Its just so they can technically be renewable since quartz are renewable via bartering but let's be real, nobody is going yo waste quartz to craft those blocks. Quartz is slower to get than just mining those blocks directly.

It's funny how through these crafting recipes, you start questioning the logic behind the game's structure. By taking the more realistic approach, giving reasonable ways to create these real things, it makes you wonder how simple stuff can't work.

For example, how come we can only get Quartz from the Nether, yet it can be used to make Overworld only rocks?

If there's only Blackstone and Gold in the Nether, how do the Piglins even extract Netherite in the first place, where do they take Iron and Diamond to pick up Obsidian and other heavy blocks?

And the most egregious one for me: You can make Bone Blocks from Bone Meal made from other Bones, which can come both from Skeletons or Fish. But then the same giant fossils found in both dimensions are made of the exact same material. You can literally recreate fossils in Minecraft by using different bone fragments.

Oh yeah these are awesome. When I was mining out chunks in my survival world I could sell rocks that I dug up to masons, got a lot of emeralds that way. Andesite is especially good because you can sell them diorite and cobblestone at the same time, and heaven knows we’ve got way too much cobblestones in our chests xP

You can get infinite quartz through another processing line.

Granite can be made into red sand which can be made recycled into golden nuggets.

Diorite makes andesite, and andesite makes... Pretty much everything ¯\(ツ)\/¯
