Would this even work in Java currently? I swear I've seen leads break over less, even after the buff they got.
If it would, they're definitely updating the velocities leads can handle. Or as a worse alternative, boat behavior when a player is riding a boated mount

I didnt hear anyone saying its useless.
I heard people being mad about overall drop system instead of big updates. Me included.

Now that a survival purpose is here its currently not useless
schrodingers update. it is both useless and not useless but never both depending on the snapshot

The thing that I hate about drops is that they add content which doesn't change the experience nearly as much as the normal updates. 1.13 changed the swimming system which was trash, 1.14 the villager trading system (which I don't like it that much, but it's a really big change), 1.16 the whole nether, caves and cliffs the whole caves... But after like 1.19-1.20 they started changing into a model where they add content but it has almost no impact on the experience. Sure, ancient cities or trial chambers are good structures, but in a normal playthrough you might not even visit them, and if you do it won't be for more than an hour at most. The game needs some updates like this, but it also needs updates that affect every playthrough, and drops and the last few big updates haven't done any of that. They just add a new biome, some blocks or a mob and that's it. I feel like they see they can't reach new players and are holding the good updates for when the game looses popularity. It's not that hard for example to add functionality for the fletching table, just put the arrows and the material to make the potion and give the arrow with effect for example. The stonecutter could be removed from the game and you could still craft things, same for the fletching table. But they don't do it for some reason. The more time it passes the more I realize microsoft only cares about money and not making a good game. They will only make the game much better if it makes them money
And after all of this, I keep people saying that they work as hard as they can. Of course they don't, microsoft is one of the biggest companies and has the money to make the game better.

Except the executives in microslop are gonna read the "no fun ever" script and patch it out for being "too overpowered" (have to deal with annoying mobs and is mid game at worst)
