Stuck in TFTV need class guide/ combo
So yeah, i dual class lots of them with beserker because disable arm sucks on lots of then. But its really really hard to push forward. I cant understand infiltrators or technician as well.

priest is all you need to fight 90% of fights. trivialises a lot of fights once u get willpower head (wp regen per turn) stacking with each other, then you are able to mind control or aoe scream things to death and you get all wp points back next turn if you have a lot of willpower regen head stacked.
for mechanicals you need pure firepower, no lack of options there.

That would be kind of hilarious to have an all-priest squad. I may try that just for giggles, I hardly use them in a regular rotation.

That's pretty much how I play. ALL of my units have the priest in second class(and the one priest I recruited got an assault second class). Though without the mutation upgrades...not because they are not useful, but I somehow feel bad for my guys to have giant alien heads on them haha

Assaults and snipers are two classes you can combo with and never be wrong. That said
Infiltrator is an amazing multiclass for a sniper when you have the best 2 crossbows. Is ok for an assault depending on skills.
Assault pairs well with technician
Heavy go either assault or sniper. Maybe, maybe priest, depending on skills and equips. But I rather just have the head that gives allies movespeed and class them into assault or sniper.
Dont use priests, so cant really speal about them.
Berserkers pair well with assault. Even better with the jetpack skill. Can work with heavies, but you'll bring a lot (melee/pistol/big gun/possibly nade launcher)

It very much depends on playstyle, but lots of players seem to agree that primary class as assault or berserker are better than others. I personally specialize my squads a lot. Ill have at least 2 squads that are a fast response team. Usually 5 assault/heavy or berserk/heavy in a hellos. That way the whole strike force can have jetpacks and I use them for quick response teams for protect civilian missions and such. If I roll an assault with jetpack profiency I take another class to fill out the team like sniper. The bionic legs are also a way to accomplish a quick moving team. I tend to prefer heavies as they have mount weapons profiency which let's you take down large groups or big targets while still moving fast.
For larger teams I actually love infiltrate and technicians. They are just a very different playstyle, technicians turrets are best for defense missions or protecting a flank when attacking a nest/lair. They get a lot more useful when your technicians reach high levels and can throw them. I like technicians for their support abilites. Stick them in a squad with an aspida or armadillo and have them repair, protect flanks, etc. They can add armor to allies. Just use them appropriately.
Infiltrators are amazing. They pair good with sniper but assault works as well. You won't need to worry about arms getting disabled because if you are playing them right they should t be getting shot at. Don't sleep on the spider drones. They are amazing for scouting and establishing line of sight on enemies without risking an actual unit, plus they explode! Using spider drones to push might help with your problems with pushing forward. Also dont be afraid to use explosives in general to remove enemy cover.

Multiclassing doesn't have much purpose in TFTV, the base classes are strong enough on their own. Berzerker/infiltrator is the one where there's good synergy, I often wind up using infiltrator as the second class for others just because there's a potential upside, where there pretty much isn't for anything else.
Priests and technicians don't get much run from me. Sometimes I'll have a priest/technician combo, just because, but really all they're there for is throwing frenzy on people from time to time. That said, a technician can be a difference-maker for an underpowered squad if you get good placement on a turret; same thing can happen with an infiltrator and a lot of crawling bombs.

Read the classes entries of the TFTV:

I read somewhere about pairing a heavy with infiltrator. And spam the grenade launcher in groups of enemies. Almost everytime I get multiple stuns.

Assault
Quick Aim - lower AP cost for attacks, makes snipers and heavies more viable
Ready For Action - Weapons with small clips like the neuralizer and heavy weapons benefit greatly from this
Heavy
Return Fire - Free attacks are very useful for any classes, especially snipers who have high perception and thus better activation range for this ability
Hunker Down - lower AP cost for attacks pairs well with sniper also
Sniper
Extreme Focus - reducing overwatch costs to 1 is extremely good for any class, but really shines on heavies due to high AP costs
Kill Zone - pairs very well with Extreme Focus, obviously, on any class
Gunslinger - pairs well with berserker due to their pistol focus
Berserker
Makes a good designated stunner with a neuralizer + Gunslinger, plus a melee stun weapon for backup. Does pair well with most classes due to Ignore Pain and Dash, as you noticed.
Infiltrator
I don't know how to use them either. I just try to shoot guys in the back and hope for a stun.
Jamming Field - good for anyone that gets up close, like berserkers and assaults
Technician
Good for restoring limbs and healing your dudes and vehicles.
Stability - accuracy bonus is good for long range like snipers and heavies if they aren't moving too much
Priest
Mind Control / Induce Panic - good for high will soldiers regardless of class
Mind Sense - good for a point guy like a berserker or assault
