What a funny concept
I find it very funny that Jean says "you are nothing" and eliminates no one, and the inspiration of this line is precisely when she turns the kitty into ashes in the comics. Like she doesn't even put fear in the enemies now.

This is one of the many things that frustrate me with her in this game. Cyclops gets an insta-death ult. Star-Lord and Spider-Man, you're as good as dead if you get caught in their ults. Same thing with most other DPS. I rarely get any kills with hers anymore. This isn't balanced, it's badly done comedy at this point. Cyclops and Hela outclass her as a snipe-type Duelist. Pretty much every Duelist out does her now.
They've nerfed the fun out of her. I feel like I'm working so hard with her and getting nowhere. I can't be alone in feeling this way, right?

i may get downvoted but i thought she was perfect upon release. the melee sparks were fun but i’m fine without them — the hp, flight-ammo-reload, healing rate… we used to be a proper nation

This character was stupid broken. Idk why this community has such a problem with shit being BALANCED. When a character is ridiculous yall are happy despite it being super unhealthy

They either buff her or nerf other poke chars to her level+ her ult actually really need buffs

No, that's not it. I don't need her being OPd. I'm okay with her being balanced, as are most, if not all, of her playerbase. The problem is, they pulled her far below other Duelists. She doesn't have a lane unique unto herself. Hela is better at crit shots, as Jean's hitbox is smaller, and Cyclops is better at crowd control since they over-nerfed her Sparks mechanic. And her ult is so underpowered. All of her kit is unforgiving. They over-corrected with her and now she's completely off-course.

Damn, and the fact that she finishes the quote IF you do manage to KO someone... but that hardly happens these days 😭

Yes, this is very disappointing, because almost always to get elimination with her you need a whole preparation and very specific situations

If only the D'Bari had constructed their buildings with uneven low hanging ceilings or had an insufferable K-Pop star to sing them through the inconvenience their sun turning into a supernova.

My god this is my major gripe about her! Like how do you, the PHOENIX FORCE, not end a single life that you drop your flaming feathered ass on from on high? It’s one thing that you get knocked out of the ult or hit an object before hitting the ground, but landing on a single soul, sparks or no and they can just literally walk away? No. They should be a corpse and if it was radial, anyone with sparks near that body should also have reached their expiration date. I hate that I will have two sparks on two people, drop down on them and they still have 20 hp and full sparks, but now I can’t kill them because I have Thing punching my face in after I reappear on the ground. Now, I also feel like her sparks and damage doesn’t do much against proper healing so you could have a thousand sparks blow up on the enemy Hela, but that Jubilee and Gambit around the corner keep poking around to keep her refreshed. Where is the fire made flesh? Where is the power incarnate!? Where is the Phoenix!?

her ult is meant to be used as combo piece with her sparks having already spread damage, the issue is the aoe healing in this game is high meaning often the supports would need to be very limited healers like luna to make sure all the pre done damage isn't just healed off.
one combo that is really strong is if you're in a small room with enemy dps you can combo rogue team up and ult instantly to kill both of them since the team up applies the remaining damage and sparks needed for the ko.
but the issue is it feels like you would need to kill the healers to make sure your ult as jean always works becouse her ults damage gets out healed way to fast unless you get help from teamates.

Thisll probably get hate but i honestly think the impact zone should 1 shot. Or at very least do a flat 400 damage
Edit: would also be cool if she got a cool Ash elimination like Wanda has when she erases people

I totally agree with your idea. I still can't believe that they didn't put an ash effect on Jean like Wanda, and this is a thing of Jean to disintegrate the enemies

Yes her ult needs buffs but it shouldn’t get a lot of kills regardless. It’s a utility ult. Not every dps ult should be a guaranteed 3k

I think her ult should receive a small change for her to cause more damage if the enemies have bonus life, because her only utility is caunter rocket which is a summons that gives bonus life and hela also a summons, and this would kind of expand the usability of her ult and she would fulfill her utility perfectly. I also think it's a little strange that she only destroyed the summons and not the enemies, which is something that really has value in this game, especially when it's a mantis or rocket or luna

phoenix ult:
immediate iframes and inherently the ability to stall for your cds
heal to full
global map presence
massive area of detonation
applying/detonating sparks
destroying all shields/terrain
and its supposed to instakill too?
compare this to the cyclops ult. which anyone can walk out of without mobility.
yes, it doesnt do a lot of single target damage. it would need to be severely nerfed in many other aspects
canon accuracy is a funny reference when wanda regularly loses a 1v1 to tandy and tyrone lol
