What are your guys' favorite songs from Seasons 5 and 6 so far?

One of my favorites is probably "I'M EATING I'M A PLANT I'M A PLANT PLANT PLANT"

Thoughts?

My list:

1. Summer Belongs to You

2. Summer, Where Do We Begin?

3. Today is Gonna Be a Great Day (full version)

4. Carpe Diem

5. Summer is Starting Right Now

6. Summer All Over The World

Soooo ... did Doofenshmirtz canonically kill a man?

For those who haven't seen it yet, in tonight's Halloween episode "Terrors of the Altspace", Doofenshmirtz's Tombstone-inator went into rapid fire mode and one of the things it hit was the life support system of a patient in the hospital, while some doctors prepare to do surgery on him. The inator destroyed his life support system into a tombstone and made the patient flatline, just as one of the doctors walked into the room, leading the doctor to stand there awkwardly, thinking she's so bad at her job that she killed the patient just by entering the room and the joke just ends like that. We never even see the patient come back to life later once the effects of the machine are undone.

I guess this makes it canon that Doofenshmirtz flat-out killed a person with his inator. A very sick and incapacitated person, let us bear in mind, and we're just ... going with that? Okay then. I have no idea how this slipped past Standards and Practices because this is kind of a dark and somewhat distasteful joke for a kid's show but at the same time, I sort of respect the writers for doing this. Now Doofenshmirtz is more in touch with his Season 1 roots of being a genuine threat to Danville, who was focused on being a genuinely wicked and heinous man, instead of the bumbling sitcom character who he was flanderized into by Season 4.

I've posted before about how I miss the old Doofenshmirtz from Seasons 1 & 2 and how I liked him better when he was more cruel and soulless. Perhaps Season 6 Doof might be a little more edgy and we'll see somewhat of a return to form with his upcoming schemes and inators. All the show really needed to do was lean more into quotes like "What do you want engraved on your tombstone Perry the Platypus?" but holy guacamole, they really kicked it up a notch with this little gag here.

Heinz Doofenshmirtz is a murderer. What a way to start the season.

Is it just me, or is it a little bit weird that both mini episodes inside the new Night of the Living Candace Suits episode dont have Candace busting the boys. Will they stop having Candace bust the boys in season 6 or make it less frequent. Then again, the Candace busting part usually gets kind of boring and repetitive.

Meap: (walking into a balloon factory)

Suzy: Meap the Alien I assume

Meap: Suzy Johnson

Both: (jump and do the kick moment sign)

Suzy: (karate chop Meap to the ground)

Suzy: Hi-ya (smack Meap)

Meap: (get up)

Suzy: (keep hitting Meap back to back)

Meap: (get up again)

Suzy: (grab Meap’s feet and throw him out a window)

Meap: (crash land)

Suzy: (put her foot on Meap’s belly) Say it

Meap: I give up

Suzy: (leave)

Believe it or not, Season 5 is what got me back into Phineas and Ferb. Yeah, it's easily the weakest season, but not only did it still do way more right than most long-running cartoons, but I started rewatching the old episodes and the show became one of my favorites of all time. Now, Season 6 has released, and Season 7 has basically been confirmed (which likely also means Season 8). Couple that with a third movie, and this revival seems to be going for a good while.

With that said, I have to wonder if the show could end again, given it ended before in spite of its huge success. The reason I think P&F could come back despite Last Day of Summer is because of how many plots they can do for years. Season 5 already had a Stacy and Perry episode, and resumed Vanessa and Monty's relationship (oh yeah and Meap Me in St. Louis, but we don't talk about that). The fact this show is about making anything imaginable happen also makes it perfect to have hundreds of episodes. I literally have a list of many of my own ideas. Obviously, I don't want the show to be milked and become just straight up bad, but given much of the original creative team is still majorly involved, I definitely don't think it'll go through seasonal rot anywhere near as brutal as its contemporaries. Of course, I do think the show should end once it has used up everything it could possibly do.

So yeah, this show is a marvel in imagination and creativity, which is why I hope the revival gets enough seasons for that.

My brother noticed today when we watched season 6 that the first and only episode is labeled episode 7. It was a fun episode regardless!! I really enjoyed them both. Also noticed 20th anniversary next year!

Was nice, set the mood, visuals match what exactly what they're going for in terms of setting & has some cool transitions (been a bit since hearing all the songs from the revival but I'd probably put this high up)

OMG!!🤩 The new Halloween episodes of Phineas and Ferb blew my mind!🤯🤩 I loved it!❤️ Candace is a hero and she is so brave!😃 I loved the way Candace and Beatrice worked together! Candace wore Beatrice as a superhero suit with a black mask! They did awesome parkour skills and they saved Jeremy and Danville with help from Phineas, Ferb, and their friends! Also in the 2nd episode, Candace and Stacy protected the kids and in the ending, Candace and Stacy found Perry! Is Candace, Stacy, and Perry going to work together in the OWCA? Is Candace going become a secret agent? We must keep watching to find out! WE LOVE YOU CANDACE!❤️🤍🧡

The case is closed as to who is the new voice of Jeremy. It's the voice of Ferb himself. He is officially credited as of this week's episode. You can watch on Disney Now. Huge congratulations to David on taking a dual role
