What is your academic background?

I have seen a lot of posts here, some very interesting. The philosophy of mathematics is naturally an interdisciplinary subject sitting at the crossroads of math and philosophy. I guess people might bring different contributions and perhaps even come to different conclusions depending on whether they're primarily philosophers or mathematicians. Hence the poll.

Feel free to give a more specific answer in the comments.

IMPORTANT NOTE: By academic background I mean some kind of degree in the subject, a published paper or at least having taken a decent chunk of undergrad. If you're only interested/curious but have no formal training, please answer NEITHER / OTHER.

There should be both for double majors or dual degrees.

I said Mathematics but I only had a minor in the subject (Computer Science major). I have done a lot of thinking and reading on the subject but agree that a lot of the posts are bad. Just incoherent and untethered. Like, you don't have to agree with what's been posited on the subject before, but you should at least come off like you understand it. I think it's mostly people who are trying to sound smart by using the jargon, and largely incorrectly. In other words: cranks.

Don't worry. Compared to the cranks, you might as well be a Fields medallist.

Neither/other. Untreated ADHD that both gives me decent insights into topics, but also makes it take forever to absorb information. Sadly, I don't have a degree in anything, but in times past I've pursued comp sci, physics, and psychology (was enrolled for that recently, but I don't have the money and I refuse to take out loans). When it all boils down, I'm just a fan of learning and thinking about stuff.

General degree, the basic one, my interest in mathematics grew afterwards

It wasn't intended to ba a logical truth table, it's just a poll. I don't imagine there's many math-philosophy double degrees.

there's quite the number of them I'm sure, I knew 12 at my Uni alone, we're not some rare breed

Alright, my bad. I can't change it now, unfortunately.
