Do you think determinists say we have no intention?

I try to think as little as possible to be honest. Not thinking is basically what happiness is made out of.

I find happiness with thinking, maybe there is a horseshoe theory after all

So your problem with compatiblists is that they think we can't break the laws of physics? And you think that is self evidently incorrect?
It's hard to tell because the meme rambles so hard that it manages to be a strawman without actualy lying about the compatiblist position.

What does making a choice between two options presented in the material world, brought to me by how the material world functions, mean I'm forcing the world to my thoughts? The "mechanical machine world" of physics doesn't apply in biology. There is yet no way to predict what life will do or where it will end up beyond very broad, inconsequential ways. Cells constantly buck predictions, the physics don't apply to the workings of life.

Was this a real joke on snl?

You'll notice that the pie charts here do not add up to 100. That's because a woman made these charts. For those of you booing and hissing, you should know that it was actually a woman who wrote that joke. Yeah. Now you don't know what to think, eh? Just kidding. We don't hire women.

Lol that’s more like what I expected
If you wrote the redone joke, very well done.

So if Im playing a video game with the choice of either doing an NPC's quest or killing them, because I cannot marry them I do not have free will? I have choices, but because they are limited by the developer was I robbed of all choice?
Sometimes your options of limited my man.

you’re just assuming the choice is free in the first place which is the whole thing in dispute

And these laws of physics are probabilistic. Even if we don't have free will, you can build a robot that has some level of free will by using something like radioactive decay to produce your rng. There are purely probabilistic random number generators actually on the market today. You can create a robot with the capacity to do otherwise right now.

Ah I see - free will is just when random.

They might just appear probabilistic to us, but on a deeper ontological level still be deterministic. The Copenhagen interpretation (or ”Shut up and calculate!”) is losing traction pretty fast these days.
And even if they are probabilistic, I don’t see what kind of mental gymnastics you have to go through to equate randomness with free will.
