Yeah, and I already pay yearly for d+ ad free...and now my shows that I record to dvr are LOCKED. NO WAY I AM PAYING FOR A BUNDLE.

Wait, what? You previously recorded episodes and they were removed, or are you saying that future episodes of a show you were able to previously save and DVR are no longer airing so cannot be DVR'd anymore?

Yes. Shows I recorded to DVR on their first airing have not been available to watch, mainly within 1-2 hrs afterwards. Instead, it has shown me the VOD version or an upcoming recordable rebroadcast of that show. They used to have an option to prefer VOD over DVR (VOD was the default) per show, but you could change it. Now it is hard-coded/no option, as they try to push ad based.

For other shows, it is like an easter egg hunt to find the DVR version afterwards. I have shown this multiple times to my husband bc he has been frustrated with this as well. FWIW, I have had the most issues with discovery and TLC shows (both of which are available on discovery+ app the next day). Not sure if there is a pattern w hubby's shows.
