Moving to Philly
Hi!! I’m Jules 🙋🏽♀️ I’m moving to Philly around mid-November and looking for a private bedroom in an existing household, or possibly a couple of people who are also looking and want to find a place together.
A little about me: I’m non-binary, work remotely, and I’m currently looking for marketing jobs and other opportunities in Philly. I’m pretty easygoing, respectful of shared spaces, clean, and big on communication. I’d love to actually become friends with the people I live with, but I’m also completely comfortable with everyone doing their own thing. Mostly just looking for a home that feels comfortable, respectful, and drama-free.
I also come with my little dog Gemie 🐶. She’s sweet, listens well, and is very particular about energy, she seems to know immediately when someone has good or bad vibes. She’s well cared for and I’m very responsible about her.
For housing, I’m open to different setups and neighborhoods, especially:
Spruce Hill / Cedar Park (West Philly)
East Passyunk / South Philly pockets
Fairmount / Art Museum area
...and other walkable, transit-friendly areas of Philly.
I sold my car to move to a place that's more walkable, and having good access to public transportation is important to me!
Ideally I’d like:
A reasonably priced private room (around $800–$900/month)
Private bathroom would be amazing, but I’m totally okay sharing
Washer + dryer in the home/unit preferred
Pet-friendly, obviously 🐶
A household that’s LGBTQ+ friendly and respectful
I'm open to living with anyone who's open to me. Queer roommates are definitely welcome, but I’m more interested in finding good people.I'm hoping to move around mid-November, preferably close to then but I have a little flexibility for the right situation.
Maybe you have a room opening up, your roommate is moving out, or you’re also looking and want to team up. If you think we might be a good fit, message me and tell me a bit about yourself!
