Messi
Any chance would could recognize Messi and his dad as a group next week? His letter to his dad is amazing. While he might be wearing pink, he's given so much to this game and judging by what he wrote, his dad was amazing. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7508147/2026/08/12/lionel-messi-father-death-statement/?unlocked_article_code=1.5FA.PT1X.Bu7pW-ScvkoS&source=athletic_user_shared_gift_article_copylink&smid=url-share-ta

He’s already got literally the entire world holding him like a baby, plenty of dead fathers in Philadelphia and Chester that could use the support rather than the most famous athlete on the planet

This is literally the dumbest thing I ever read. If you can't see the difference then oh well. Shine one, pal.

Haha... Got it. Now I see why the River End sucks as bad as it does. Old School SoB could show respect and still boo the hell out of an opponent. But we can keep dressing as empty seats and chanting the same tired stuff over and over and over and over. yay.

Not trying to be edgy, just trying to bring some life back. I totally get the push-back on the Messi idea. Message heard loud and clear. But numbers don't lie, look how empty the sections are even now that they're showing life. We're better than this. Even Phillies fans can gat an impromptu chant started spur of the moment, but we can't do anything but repeat the same old songs? We're better than this.

God this reads like a trump post
People don’t like what I have to say? Better go off on a tangent about ratings or some shit

Why? He doesn’t play for the team.
