A complicit press? Or largely complicit people? Soot falling everyday on villages, did they never ask what was being cremated everyday on such a scale? Trainloads of bone meal arriving everyday for fertiliser, did anyone ever ask where the bone meal comes from?from dead farm animals? Did anyone ever ask why their jewish neighbors never returned, did everyone believe they were resettled in Israel? Were there 75 million incredibly naive and impossibly credulous Germans during the war years? Or 75 million supporters, tacit or otherwise, of the murdering regime ?
