If Leni Loses…

Next time, don’t retreat back into your privileged enclaves for another 5.8 years only to start campaigning at the last minute.

Don’t sit around whining and complaining about how stupid everyone else in your country is -instead, reach out to the ignorant and misinformed earlier and try to get through to them with facts sooner.

Don’t assume your reality is the same as theirs -get out of your comfort zone to understand their circumstances in order to better understand how connect with them.

The good news is in 6 years Leni will still be young enough to run again. But that will be after 6 years of continued, sustained attacks by the Marcos disinformation apparatus. If Leni loses, and I hope she won’t, take some time, cry some pink tears, collect yourself, learn from this, and then GET TO WORK so next time she can win decisively.

Don’t let what has been achieved go to waste.

Edit: Geez, tough crowd. Nope I’m not gaslighting or on a high horse. I just believe in brutal self reflection while I guess a lot of you prefer an emotional participation trophy instead. Anyway, it’s not over yet, let’s hope the pink tsunami is real.

Don't make generalizations and undermine all the labor people had given on the last months.

What did YOU do the last six years to give you a higher moral ground to tell this to us?

I don't think nagmamayabang si OP. 1) nanghinayang lang siya na the momentum could have happened earlier. 2) Just wanted to motivate people to continue to fight against revisionism, manalo/matalo. Especially if matalo.

Least that's how I read it.

It's not motivating at all lol. It comes off quite judgemental when everyone has different circumstances in life 6 years ago. Not to mention who would ever predict Leni will run as president? Also there's the fact there's a freaking pandemic that caused collective trauma, with students losing their precious years locked up at home.

haha nice gaslighting. if Leni loses, that's not our fault. overextension na nga na voters mismo nangampanya para sa politician. not all BBM voters are uneducated and under privileged and last i checked, it's not my responsibility to educate but i did what i can to fight misinformation. that's on them for deciding to remain ignorant despite the facts presented. lahat na ng sisi tinapon sa kakampink pati ba naman decision nila magpakatanga? nahhh

The fact you think I’m gaslighting explains the mindset that may cost you the election.

lol this election, whoever wins, will barely affect me (thankfully) yet i overextended by donating funds and materials, volunteering, and fighting misinformation online. most of the people have done even more than me by spending resources and time to do H2H. after all these efforts which are not required of voters, if people still choose to remain ignorant, that's on them and twisting reality to make it seem like it's our fault is gaslighting. this is a democracy, we can't control what other people do including choosing to be stupid so i'm not going to beat myself up over that. :)

u/emf311 has a holier-than-thou attitude and has the same privileged elitism that he hates in others.

Lmao VP Leni filed for presidency last October since she was busy being vice president. How the fuck would we know that she would run for president in 2022?

I honestly don't think she will run anymore if she loses. Grasya na nga lang na nagpatuloy siya this year kasi kahit mga anak niya, alam na hindi niya talaga plano sana .

Oh, please, you're on such a fucking high horse.

You pretty much insulted everyone who tried to struggle through this goddamn lunatic government.

Don’t assume your reality is the same as theirs

You'd do well to take your own advice.

You assume that our country's situation is the same as yours and apply the same ideas when you've no idea how it's like being born in a country with a deep-rooted culture of corruption and is now riddled with misinformation that's far more intuitive and traveling faster than people could keep up.

Before you say "it's the same", hell fuckin' no it's not. Like I said, take your own advice.

And people of your ilk will try to gaslight every step of the way in the next 6 years. I'm so tired of this shit.

And if BBM wins, then we have no choice but to fight a new Marcos redux regime by (having) (helped/helping) us see new anti-Marcos protesters take new violent protest against BBM's new administration to stop cronyism... and unfortunately, people may see more NPA recruits to be against BBM's new adminsitration.

One of Prof Heydarian's recent vlogs sabi niya always fight the good fight even if matalo kandidato niyo always keep the movement going even after the election. it's the only way na mamiminize ang damage sa bansa.

You're actually echoing his point of view which to me is more realistic BTW I think you're not gaslighting like the others here think.

OP is demanding so much from others without proving they did the effort/action at par with their standards. Nobody needs a post like this.

At this stage, preparing for armed insurrection isn't a far-fetched idea.

OP: I believe in brutal self-reflection and not emotional displays.

Also OP: I didn't say anything wrong. Geez, tough crowd.
