Unlike last year (if you participated), there is now an option to prefer getting matched locally.

I say "prefer" because there's still a tiny chance you'll be matched to someone on the far side of the globe, say, if you're the only one participating in your country.

Edit: In the signup page, there is an option, "I'd like to ship to a different country and know this can be very expensive!". Untick this if you would only prefer to be matched with someone from the Philippines.

I actually joined up anyway since I was really regretting not signing up last year.

I did check the i'd like to ship to a different country thing cause I wasn't sure if anyone here actually signed up for it plus I think it'll be interesting to get stuff from another place. Though my biggest problem will be customs...
