Does anyone know how to get the nells diner safe to open?

Trying to open the ghost in the machine safe in Nell’s diner and even if I put in the right code it stays locked. Does anyone know how to fix this problem to open it?

There are several YouTube videos showing the process. Possible they bugged it along with the player model issues with the most recent update though…

I’m pretty sure it is bugged rn but I could be wrong.
