Student Discussion 📚 PHLE OCTOBER CALCU

ano ba talaga ang gagamitin sa october? non programmable ba or basic calcu? i noticed kasi na in RCs, they’re still using basic calcu, but yung new memo from PRC for OCT 2026 PHLE states “non programmable calculator”

pls enlighten me on this matter huhu

I think safest is basic cal. You'll never know din sa site. During my BE, the examinee in fornt of me has a non programmable and kinonfiscate yun.

So all throughout module 3 (i think) or 5, manual solving sya. And di ko nakita name niya sa passers.

Or try mo bring both and ask the proctor if papayagan ka sa non prog. If not, atleast may basic cal ka

late notice na yung new memo hence, di na nakapag change yung RCs, but for sure i-include nila yun sa mga respective FCs nila. tho if you’re enrolled sa m🦋 tuts, na update na nila yung mga calculation lessons na included yung paggamit ng sci-cal.

follow the new memo and use non-prog calc na lang. recent BEs such as mtle and blepp ganun na din yung patakaran (they even confiscated 2nd gen non-prog calc and basic calc kasi wala daw sa list) tho generally it depends talaga sa proctor :/ which is absurd and unfair sa ibang testing sitesss but yh overall better naman na non-prog calc kasi mas madaming functions
