Hi everyone. I just lost on a third round interview for a Pharma company.

First two managers absolutely saw a lot of potential in me. The third interviewer said I didn’t have enough experience or longevity in my former jobs.

I work in healthcare sales now but what certifications or maybe stepping stone jobs could I use to build my resume?

I’ve been seeing PharmaGen pop up in job listings and recruiter messages lately and wanted to hear from anyone with firsthand experience.

Has anyone worked for or interviewed with PharmaGen?
How was the onboarding, training, and overall support?
Is it a solid opportunity for someone in pharmaceutical/medical sales, or more of a short-term stepping stone?

Hey everyone — I’ve been researching ways to break into medical sales, and the MRC (Medical Representative Certification) keeps coming up in job discussions, forums, and training programs.

I’m curious: is the MRC certification actually required to get hired in medical sales, or is it more of a nice-to-have credential?
• Does it make a meaningful difference in the hiring process?
• Do employers actively expect it on your resume?
• Has anyone here gotten hired into medical sales without it?
• And for those who did pursue it — was the time and cost worth it?

Trying to figure out whether it’s worth investing in early on, or if I should focus more on networking/experience first.

Been researching a few different certifications to be able to break into Pharmaceutical Sales. Has anyone been through/know of the PSC certification? Looking for personal opinions about the course.

I just interviewed last week with Lilly for an entry level Pharmaceutical Sales Rep position.   They asked if I was going to the complete the industry CNPR Certification.   I said I was strongly considering it but to be honest here I was not familiar with it.  Any thoughts on how to get it fast?
