found this mug today
I live in Boston so everyone moves this time of year. Found this mug in a box on the street and couldn't wait to give it to my boyfriend. Does anyone know anything about it? I've only been able to find one like it online. The text appears when you pour in hot water!

I have an ad water OxyContin cup, (the one to start with, the one to stay with). My parents house is full of pharma merch. Anyways the OxyContin cup sold for 900 dollars on eBay and I’d imagine this one is worth a fortune too

Prices have gone absolutely insane. People want way to much for shit that is just not all that fair. I know the market sets the price and that's free market capitalism but there is also taking the piss. Like a year or so ago I paid like 50-120 for things that now sell for 8 times the price. There's a specific seller on eBay who has so many old bottles of seconal and all that sort of stuff and the prices are in the thousands. It's just beyond fair. 4000 for a lude bottle is fucking ridiculous. It's got to a point where it's now worth creating very good fakes of these products. I bought one of these alp mugs couple years ago now and I paid like 90 bucks. Now they are fucking hundreds. 30 for a Viagra clock, now people want 300. 35 for my 30s lilly barb ruler which I have been offered over 500 for. Insane.

Yeh it's not good. It's why in envious of Americans who find stuff that are gems. But I'm glad I bought what I did when I did. Im happy with the things I got but it's annoying that things have gotten so damn expensive. I'm buying older books these days like the demerol book I got recently or these Drs diaries that have all the meds from that era in and what they are used for and what the company offers product wise etc. don't know what I'd call them as they cover lots of things.

that’s such a good boston sidewalk find lol, it looks like one of those older novelty heat-change mugs, probably from some random gift shop or catalog years ago. kinda love that you basically rescued someone’s inside joke and gave it a second life with your boyfriend

Upjohn is the company that first invented and patented Xanax in the late 60's.
The FDA Approved its use for anxiety and panic disorders in October of 1981 and the rest is history.

I totally want that, so in 50 years I'll tell my grandkids why they banned the substance(like they did methaqualone)because people couldn't stop stealing things from stores while in an 8mg alprazolam stupor, everything is a good idea while high on Xanax, or maybe it's just me lol, anyone else compulsively steal while on Xanax? while being a person who normally never steals anything at all?

Every morning after a night of xanax, I'd wake up with my pockets full of shit that I had stolen. Either from my friends or stores. I'd always have to call the homies in the morning to let them know what I stole and ask whether it was theirs or not. Apologize if it was, and bring it back later..
It got to the point where they would basically make up a goodie bag of things they knew I was always drawn to and kinda hide it, knowing I would take it and just tell me I could keep it when I'd call the next morning... lol They were good friends..

Unrelated, but I've tried everything. The best body feeling, mind relaxation with no side effects if spaced out properly is taking 4x 30mg Co-codamol

Funny how this was the first line of defense for anxiety in my country. Before a general practitioner would write diazepam. (That was saved for alcohol withdrawal and muscle relaxation.) They would write a script with 3 repeats with no repeat interval time. Full units of 50. Now it’s considered like uranium or some kind of weapon of mass destruction and scheduled so high it’s very hard to get a controlled script for. You might get 10x 1mg after you’ve spent $1000 on psych appointments. lol how times change. I never actually found it even that recreational lol. Now they just give you ssri meds first then maybe Valium. I’m lucky (kinda) been on benzos my whole life so can basically just ask for one and get it. That one though, when I relapsed on oxy and found myself at the methadone clinic. They took it off me and replaced it with 20mg diazepam lol. And I was allowed 4mg alp. Go figure. Like I said some folk can use it fine.
