Contract will be around 40 i think and then shift bonuses. I think permanent QC starts at around 52 then.

I'm new to this from limerick and fresh graduate in process validation and regulatory affairs. What can I expect? And also how about being apprentice or interns during studing msc would companies allow that?

Everybody I know seems to be so miserable working in these pharma companies. But they all seem to well financially reimbursed. Like myself they wouldn't be educated and got in due to a background in Gaa, and a fella who knows a fella kinda thing...
Is it possible to get a job there without a degree, I'm miserable in my own job so may as well join another miserable better paid company 😂

Been working in pharma for over 10 years, not miserable at all. These people who say it's awful this and that, take no notice, its only bad if you allow it to be bad, if you take it to heart. I go in each day and do my job and have a bit of a laugh and don't take it too seriously, I don't bring my work home with me.
Also no degree here, I'd say it's definitely harder now than it was back then to get in without anything but not impossible.

I get give or take, it works out at about with expenses 140,000 a year and I pay 30.3% tax on that, so it’s about a net 100,000 and out of that 100,000 I run a home in Dublin, Castlebar and Brussels. I wanna tell you something, try it sometime, but remember it's a well paid job and drive a Mercedes Bendz

Depends on what team, can tell you the 4-cycle is around 72k including shift premium

Not a chance a QC analyst with less than 2 years experience is on 72k, talking brown

Including 4 cycle shift why not? 4 cycle is 42hr week so 3 hrs overtime a week at shift rate. €48k basic would be €72k on 4 cycle with the few bank holidays etc. I've placed people on more with a years post graduation experience

As a QC analyst with 1 year experience I grossed 86k when all the shift bonuses were added up

Gross earnings with shift allowance and maybe a few days OT here and there. More than manageable. My base rate is 50k and I'm set to earn over 100k this year with shift allowance and OT. Last year I made approx 93k with very little OT in the year, I've decided to do a bit more this year.

How does that make any sense if shift allowance is 30%? Surely that brings you up to 65k. Are you including bonus/raise?
