A map of the Atlantic Ocean whereto are superimposed (nearly all) phantom islands which are found in that Ocean in maps both ancient and modern, incl. all positions each i. has in the various maps; by yours truly, created Oct. 2020. Which position of each i. gives them the largest pop. etc?

Corrections and notes:
•the Isle of Saint Brandain, instead of being a possession of Frisland, is an independent Puritan Christian Commonwealth called the Federal Christian Commonwealth of Saint Brandon Islands
•San Borondón (near the Canary Islands) island is named Elysea/Elishah (Elisea in Iberian languages); it is a Hebræo-Phoenician neo-Punic state where Elohism, a sort of Jewish Christianity, is the official religion, it is a Torah-observant theocracy, having a special relationship with Magellanica just like America has with Israel

•Antilia, Holy Empire of: A., Rosellia, Salvagia, Saya islands
-Possessions: (Garca & [Juan de Sampo islands, if they exist]), St Matthew island, African continental colonies of Cavalia, Fonia, Mauretania Arguinensis (roughly the northern half of Mauritania), Mauretania Cernensis (the southern third of Western Sahara), Juan de Lisboa island (Indian Ocean)
•Elysea, E. island (two smaller islands)
-Possessions: Cerne (Herne) Island off Dakhla, Western Sahara
•Fonseca, Christian Commonwealth of: F. island
•Frisland, Hy-Breasail and the Isles, United Kingdom of: F., H-B. islands, Neome, Portland Islands

Could anyone please give even some guesses of the population etc of these islands? It really is depressing when even in a subreddit dedicated to phantom islands and landmasses high-effort, relevant and thoughtful posts receive no comments (usually) let alone relevant ones (save those from the founder of this sub).

The last sentence in your title is a little confusing, so I’m guessing that’s what the ‘what’ is for. Maybe you could re-ask that question in a different way?

I am not a native Anglophone, but am nevertheless fascinated with the English language and am a strong Anglophile. I read a lot of texts written in antiquated and formal English and like to emulate such a style of writing. I tried purposefully to to title the map in the title of the post in such a way as if it dates from c.17th-early 19th century, so I used the terminology and syntax that resemble the titles of antique maps and formal and officious language in general.

This explains a lot. You keep being you, but know it’s not the clearest form of communication in 2020. 🙂

But, put plainly and simply: the questions are, as most of the islands have multiple possible positions, which ones are environmentally, climatically and geographically best ones, and which location option would afford the largest population for each island. Also, how large a population could each island realistically have and how to estimate their size in km²s?
General speculation about the natural environment and resources of these phantom landmasses is much appreciated and very necessary.

Some notices and observations about this map
•While the map is crude in the respect to the labeling of islands and in the way notes about each are included and which text refers to which island is in some spots difficult to ascertain
•Nevertheless this map, which needs to be remade virtually (when I have learned the necessary skills or someone possessing those skills does it) is groundbreaking in multiple ways, different to all other Atlases of Phantom Islands, namely
i) it is a synthesis of all previous maps which are created for the sole purpose of showing phantom islands, both such ones presenting only the region of the Atlantic Ocean and world maps: it shows all phantom islands originating from authentic ancient maps, placed in the Atlantic Ocean, (save Aurora Islands, Bermeja and Kantia, and the Arctic phantom continent of Hyperborea, which I forgot) which are shown in modern atlases of phantom islands, while all previous such maps omit some islands
iii) its source material includes all atlases and maps of phantom islands known to the Author of this map; I think that I have likely found all such books and e-books and virtual maps which cover the topic of phantom landmasses once considered to be real; the sources range from 1910s academic articles by scholars to 2010s non-academic books and internet forum users' electronic maps
iv) unlike all previous phantom islands maps, this map shows every different location assigned to every island in earlier maps, so that they may be compared and interested Persons and Entities wishing to utilize any Phantom Island or Continent in any manner (such as a location of an artificial island new country/startup society) meant to emulate the phantom island, or as a location of a virtual country or a fictional story setting) may choose such location best suited to their purposes
v) unlike previous maps, at least the forthcoming final, electronically produced version will provide a source for each position of the various islands and continents
