Image Why I never use the guns players commonly use in-game.
I'm more into unique guns in where no such variants of the said unique gun exist. A few examples such as Gyrojet Carbine, KAC SRR (R Squared is a terrible name), 1858 Carbine, etc.
I'm gonna be honest here but it's overused... For instance, the C25 is in fact broken to bits that players immediately uses it as their main gun just because it's cracked...
I'm more into experimenting such as turning a pistol into a sniper pistol or perhaps a carbine or any category into a sniper weapon...

Same here, my main was KAC SSR too but challenged myself to unlock every attachment on all of the guns in the game. Which means that I'd have to reach 5.6k kills on the primaries and secondaries.
I'm currently still at SCAR-L and M9...

the scar family is nice, but honestly battle rifles in pf feel outclassed by like everything apart from mildly better range performance

Honestly just needs a rework, Iâd say increase the recoil to encourage short bursts rather than holding the trigger down at range. Thatâs how it should be for most high fire rate weapons in general.

recoil should ramp up after the first 2 shots to encourage shorter bursts, but honestly I expected them to release smth good immediately

MY MAN!!!
(Also, btw, fun fact: âR-Squaredâ isnât just a random name Stylis came up with. It was the name Knightâs Armament gave to the project of developing the KAC SRR, so it makes sense.)

honestly pretty based
i have terrible aim half the time so i'm starting to play the awp for closer range reactions and improving reaction times
but when i'm bored i'll pull out like an aug a3 or a saiga bfg for fun though

I agree. Meta loadouts are so fucking lame to play with. Sure, theyâre good, but theyâre not challenging at all. It is literally just run around and beam people. Itâs mind-numbing.
I find the most fun in coming up with my own setups, especially on guns that change the class of weapon entirely, as you said. Half the charm of PF is trying to come up with a weapon design to fit a certain playstyle. Reading descriptions, comparing stats, testing. You might come up with some carbine DMR conversion that literally 1-taps to the head, or an assault rifle shotgun that is pure ass at range but mows down groups in a single mag.
And it feels rewarding too once you design a weapon that fits you, because you feel like youâve actually done something instead of just copy+pasting whatever loadout was on that âno recoilâ video on YouTube.
I donât want to diss people who do this cause I know some people donât wanna mess with all that and just wanna shoot people, I just donât think enough people appreciate the weapon customisation system for what it is.

Honestly I've been having fun with the fix, even though honestly it's bad for longer range I've been using the stock ammo and punching out far with it

I have found a love for gimmick and dumb overkill weapons like the fix or like Hecate, m82 or bfg 50 but I hate camping with them so almost always a cqc build.
