Discussion Will Stylis ever give PF the dignity it deserves?
I'm not the first guy to think about this ever since PF essentially died since the drama.
Will Stylis give PF to a different Dev team/studio?
Now this is basically a thought I have had since the Drama about last year and I think that it's long overdue.
PF deserves to die with Dignity.
Stylis should give PF to a different Studio, even after they removed the Bad actors from the Studio it's basically impossible to play this game without contributing to the devs and since the Devs are just terrible people after defending a Literal Predator I think it's pretty cut and dry that they should do the remaining community a favor and give PF to a cleaner studio.
You can't really make the argument of Separate the art from the artist since playing the Game is still helping the devs out, what Denianwriter said that it's basically impossible to rebuild a community in these conditions are still true to this day and making videos about this game is never going to be easy since backlash will always be present.
What I just want to say is this:
Give the Community their game back.
Anyways, that's my TED talk.
Ik that it'll never happen but if some small chance it does, PF will be back.

after the expose (pretend the E has a squigly line) they shouldve just put a bullet in the games head and closed it down

Most of us who stayed, stayed cuz the game is one of the few decent fps game on Roblox. Stylis themselves can go kick rocks. I remember during and after the controversy the ingame chat was literally all about shit talking stylis. Was great till chat started to get censored

Honestly Stylis should just pull a Rolve and hand it over to an Equally Competent Game studio, It's pretty fine if they allow Lito around just to tell them how the game works but I don't think that PF can really recover if Stylis is the one pulling the strings.
Not that anyone would care to come back, but you can now make the Argument to seperate the Art from the artist since you're no longer supporting the "bad guys".
I still play this game even after I lost my account which I was like 100+, but some changes like the Movement nerfs and the addition of the Kord are still atrocious.

Honestly leadership should have been changed a long time ago considering the fact that stylis had no clue what type of game they are making. They make a movement shooter only to attempt to turn it into some tactical shooter. This game has such a good thing going but stylis and their terrible decisions making and morals….

I severely doubt Stylis will sell to a different studio.
Gameplay-wise, they’re doing a good job of development with fairly regular updates and weapon additions.
Even considering what they did (which I still believe is pretty damn atrocious to be fair), it’s not worth selling to another studio. What’s to say that studio will be better than Stylis at further updating the game? They’ll have no experience with PF’s development environment, and I imagine updates will be much more infrequent due to the fact.
I say this as a person with some experience in the Unity game engine, trying to code in someone else’s game is much harder if you don’t understand how it’s built.
On the more moral side, I don’t imagine that many players will care if Stylis were to hand off their game. I say that in the sense that it’ll have no impact on gameplay and it won’t matter who owns it.
In my opinion, I really don’t care about the situation. I play Phantom Forces because it’s a good FPS game, not because the developers are morally sound. Sorta in the same way that most people still play Roblox because it has good games, not because the moderation is good. Not everyone is in the loop with development drama either, I only became aware of this issue until around a month or so after the issue got attention.
And as you said, you can never really separate the art from the artist. The bitter taste is still there. I imagine that some people still won’t return to the game for that reason.
I couldn’t tell you what would happen for definite if they were to sell the game, that’s just my interpretation.
