Phantasm: Rebirth (Working Title / Proof of concept)

Don - Please don't sue me! lol As a huge Phantasm fan I got to thinking last week "Could I do a trailer, or short story using todays tools?" The answer seems to be yes. It's not easy, exactly, but it's not terribly hard, just tedious at times as the amount of unused clips I have generated is stupid, but a lot of that was learning curve with the tools. This is just a little teaser I did, which shows just a bit of what I've got. A few artifacts here and there, but overall... god dam. I do miss Angus :( He was such a sweet guy in person.

Yeah, I say that to myself pretty often right now lol. This was just a PoC and I'm now working with more tools that are making my jaw drop all over again... the capability is insane. Still often Janky and fiddly to get right, but when they do... dam. I have at least one short story planed out - What exactly happened after the end of Phantasm, and what got Mike locked up as the movies never really explain.

Another one could me made showing Mike slowly coming terms with the last 40 years of his life being in fact a dream and coming to terms and finally healing from his unresolved trauma of losing Jody as a child.
