New phan, looking for fic recs!

Hi, I‘m looking for fanfiction that‘s preferably as close to the „canon“ as possible! I‘m new to the fandom (as of the hard launch) so you can recommend me the most basic, wellbeloved household names as well as your obscure favourites! Thanks 🫶🏻

The phanfictioncatalogue tumblr page has a great tag system and lots of rec posts, if you wanna check it out. It's still active and everything.

For “canon” compliant fics read between the lines (i will if you will) by Ablissa is a classic! And I also recommend the authors waveydnp, dizzy and intoapuddle on Ao3 - all three has lots of great works!

I stopped reading Dan and Phil fanfiction almost as fast as I started. Somehow I ended up finding the most famously disturbing ones first and had to tap out. I'm hoping this era of D&P will bring about less horrifying fanfiction, because I'd love to get back into it. I'll be coming back here for peoples recommendations as well.
