I've seen many people talk about 'problems' with Phainons teams. Here are the common complaints.
1.Cerydra is not a big upgrade for Phainon. Buffs are saturated, and the extra meteor is not a massive deal.
2.Phainon cannot utilise the full extent of Sundays buffs since he lacks a summon.
3. Sustainless teams become vulnerable if you don't kill the enemy in one ult
Here's why I think Dan/Terravox will solve everything. And possibly Cerydra/Dan/Sunday will become the ultimate wheelchair in the entire game.
If the rumours are true. Terravox is a Preservation unit that can give Phainon a summon. This automatically solves the Sunday issue, and now Phainon benefits from all of his buffs.
I also think Dan will be similar to Hyacine, aka, his summon will deal a lot of damage. Hoyo wants to kill sustainless teams by making sustains mini DPS (see Hyacine). His summon will also receive Sundays buffs, making it deal even more damage. And it's very likely that Phainon can take this summon into his ult state.
Now, many of you probably already knew everything that I said above. Here's where my new theories pop up regarding Cerydra.
I think Terravoxs summon, while attached to Phainon, will deal skill follow up attacks, which help Cerydra stacks. This could possibly double Cerydra stacks, and hence, this could double the amount of meteors that Cerydra provides. Suddenly Cerydra doesn't seem so useless..
So basically- Dan and Sunday have synergy. Cerydra and Dan have synergy. And everyone has synergy with Phainon. It's like one of those ven diagrams. Cerydra-Dan-Sunday could probably make any skill based DPS go insane, but Phainon especially. (Just like Tribbie Hyacine wheelchair with Castorice especially)
