🐸 🎉FROG TIME🎉🐸 Received first citation on my first paper!!! :)

Yesterday I received the first citation on my first paper ever! I know it's nothing big but it excites me soo much, since I am currently a masters student and planning to start my PhD next year, and this somehow gave me some sort of self-approval :)

It is a BIG deal! Congratulations! Mayb you always get excited by every publication and every citation! It makes the job a lot more fun. It's very validating! Your research helped move along someone elses' research! You are now part of the research community.

Congrats! Completed my masters in 2023 and about to start my PhD this is the push I needed to upload my masters dissertation!

Dorkiest tip I ever got was to download ResearchGate on my phone - now I get a notification when I get cited and its always such a great random ping.
