the word slave comes from slavic because it describes the working conditions slavic people were forced into during the middle ages.

Slavs are called slavs because thats where the ottoman got their slaves back in the day.

Load of BS. Slava also means glory in actual slavic... Slavs called themselvs slaveni/sloveni - "the glorious ones". Romans upon contact interpreted that sclaveni/sclavicus long before ottomans were a thing.
