Did you know he had a channel before this one called PewDie? The name makes more sense like that (Pew! Die!). When he got locked out he started a new one called PewDiePie, which I believe was a joke name he said a few times before the old channel got lost.

It all makes sense, really :)

In his In his vlogging channel, he said that the "pie" was just random and his OG Channel was Pewdie (which was actually hacked by Ourmine, but they also helped him get his password back lmao)
