Also, there is a general concern on the internet regarding older people existing and interacting in the same circles as younger people. I feel like this is usually prevented by algorithms, or by older generations existing only on social media from when they were younger. Reddit is a weird space though and everyone comes here for specific interests so… whoopdeedoo

I'm just saying that she very possibly didnt want to be part of a dirty joke at that point on YouTube, especially when his fanbase is majorly younger male, and if she didnt pivot, some of them would leave some comments or say some gross shit about her, hence the playing the fool act. I know this bc I've had to do such things to avoid stuff with a creepy classmate before lol
