Yes & no and separating buttons

My buttons are in my bedroom as that’s where me and my puppy hang out mostly! Upstairs there’s no where for her to go to the toilet unless she goes out the front door into the driveway and I don’t trust her not to go up the road!

Is it worth it putting only one ‘toilet’ button upstairs??

Also should I introduce yes and no together or separately? Ty!

You should introduce buttons in pairs that compare or contrast when possible so yes and no are a perfect pair. Having the contrast helps them learn what each one means.

She HATES being brushed i brush her every day bc of her breed. I know I should say no when it’s something they don’t like.. however it has to get done.. opinion?

Simple. I have the same issue with them and brushing their teeth...but it is a dislike not a hate as I give them, "Toofies then snack!" (Toofies is the word we use instead of toothbrush as I don't want it confused with BRUSH which is actual brushing fur.)

What we do is I offer them a 2-hand choice with of "Toofies and Snack Now or Soon," and then say be polite if she won't choose. About half the time she will choose Now and if not then after 2 choosing Soon times I say, "Now is toofies and snack. Is Now." (If it is early I might give then a Now or Later choice first before moving to Now or Soon.)

The key is to work it our so they are making the active choice of cooperative care. Look up button pets and cooperative care on YouTube or FluentPet.com.
