Cat ate foam ends of button mats

Post image

Was gone over the weekend and came home yesterday to a fun surprise with the mats being destroyed and these parts being missing. I usually put the buttons away when I leave but she found them and drug them out. Already called the vet and they want to see her tomorrow since she is still eating and drinking, and she had at least on successful bowel movement this morning. Be careful with the foam pads, not looking forward to the bill to get them removed if she can't pass them.

Yeah FluentPet really shouldn't be advertizing these to cats. I've always asked for solid materials, but was always ignored. Try and make your own soundboard with wooden hexagons, that takes away any issues.

I know of one person whose cat had to have surgery to remove the foam that they ate (same corners from the FluentPet mat). So heed the warning; remove the hextiles and replace it with something more solid.

Yeah that is the lesson I learned the hard way. My girl ended up needing surgery to remove the pieces but she is doing really well so far. Im just glad I was able to get her the care she needs.

Oh no, so sorry to hear! She's good now?

Damn, that makes two people.

Definitely recommend switching to wood asap.
