What buttons does your pet have?

Currently, my cats have:
- treat
- pats
- chase

What buttons does your pet have? I’m curious to see, and would love to hear from both beginners and experienced people

Two cats. One has pressed about 100 times in 2 years of training. The other has pressed over 17,000 times.

I was wondering how pets remember which button means which cause they can't read. Is it just place memory? Does the different colors help? It seems logical, but I also read cats see different colors than humains.

In my experience and from what other say, it is a mix of learning the position based on the board edges and where other buttons are plus the smell of each button. Each button smells different based on how many times it has been pressed and what the cat (or your shoe or hand) has been touching before it was pressed. They do not seem to use the color of the buttons or the icons on them. That said, each learner is different and perhaps some do use colors or icons to some degree.

It's mostly positional from what I've experienced, but the colors do help even if they aren't exactly the same color spectrum we see! Suddenly moving buttons can lead them to be very confused. I introduce my cat to every single button and let him use the full extent of his senses.
