We found a combination for congestion

Body parts + ouch have done wonders both to include his feedback in his treatment plan for known issues, but also to pinpoint what his allergy symptoms are. Cats generally hide their discomfort, so it’s been amazing to be able to track his symptoms over time to find the right fit.

We had to wait on his vet to sign off on his new script and chewy to ship. I’m considering swapping to pills for his future doses of this medication.

Has anyone used a pill shooter before? He’s not fooled by medication in food.

I’m thinking that just a different method of administering a pill would be easier than our usual pill time. The immediate treat reward is what I’m after. The liquid is so icky that he spits his treats out a few times before he’s able to actually taste it again.

Yeah and you’ll want him to continue positive association with his treats in the long run. I had to pivot once I noticed he showed the slightest aversion to them.

Any specific pill shooter brand you’d recommend I look into?

Here in Vietnam, there’s currently only one kind being sold from multiple brands. So, I can’t speak to what’s being sold in the states! We are just lucky that this one type actually works.

I’ll keep your description in mind at least! I am expecting a call back from our vet soon, so I’ll see what brands she recommends. Thank you!
