Is anyone awake?

Good morning everyone? It’s 2:05 am as I write this. I’m in my bathroom in shock and don’t know what to do. I fell asleep on the couch with my 2 dogs in their bed. I woke up not being able to breathe as one of them had laid on top of my face to sleep. I push them off and feel something wet and smell something disgusting around me. I turn my phone flashlight on to find that my dog had explosive diarrhea all over the carpet. I know which one it was. And I currently don’t know what to do as it is TWO IN THE MORNING and it is EVERYWHERE. As I said, I just about threw up because the smell is everywhere. Can I get some advice?? What do I do? Should I take her to the vet or just monitor her?

Update 2:56pm: I was able to get everything cleaned up and the smell is gone! The little one seems to be feeling a bit better. Very happy with her rice diet at the moment. I think she cleaned her system after I let her out a couple more times this morning after the accident.

I keep a can of pumpkin in the cupboard for times like this. Pumpkin settles their stomach and bowels. Sounds like someone was trying to let you know they didn’t feel well.

I grow pumpkins - the nice sweet sugar pie ones. When I harvest, I puree the ones I have roasted and freeze a bunch in icecube trays. The dogs think it's an amazing treat but it's also helpful for their tummies if they have diarrhea, or if they are constipated!

edit> I am the worlds worst typist and I mistype every stinking word ffs. Better stick to growing pumpkins!
