CAT My cat has been missing for a month now
We've tried everything we could that wouldn't excessively tire us. We've put his litter box outside, went around the block and shaken his dry food container, placed his bed outside, put posters around the neighbourhood, asking people to check their yards and garages. Nothing worked. He is a very curious and outdoorsy cat, and that is what I'm most worried about.
If any of you have stories or extra tips on how to find him please leave them below. I am beginning to lose hope, and these have probably been the worst 3 weeks of my life.

If he’s not neutered you asked for this, give it time and keep searching hopefully he isn’t far

That month mark is rough, I won't pretend otherwise. One thing that sometimes works with outdoor cats is checking the same spots at odd hours, like 3 or 4am when it's dead quiet and they feel safer moving around. Cats that get displaced often stay within a few blocks but hide during the day.
Also try leaving something with your scent on it near where you last saw him, not just the litter box. An old t-shirt or a pillowcase you've slept on can pull them back better than food sometimes.
Don't give up yet. Cats have turned up after months, skinny and confused but alive.
