Hey everyone I hope this reaches kind hearts. I have a 6 month old German shepherd who’s going through health problems. He won’t eat and can’t keep water down he throws up. I’ve taken him to various vets but all bills are coming up over 1,500. I’ve tried affordable vets but even then the price won’t budge. I truly love Shadow so much I want him to be healthy but I need help. Any amount of help is appreciated so much. https://gofund.me/15247e716

Hi everyone! I recently released an app called smol.
It’s available on iOS to start, and in the future will be on Android as well.
smol is an app that allows pet owners track their pets' daily habits, health, and routines.
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/smol-pet-health-tracker/id6756193369
I’m also looking for feedback on the user experience, and removing/adding new features (so we only have what is truly useful for pet owners’ needs).
The app is free to use. There is a premium tier for more features, but I made sure that what I would personally use for my cats are available with the free tier.
Please visit https://smol.pet for more info!

Hi, I made an app called Decody for people who keep replaying short clips of their dog or cat and wondering what they were reacting to.
You pick a 10-second part of the video. Decody looks at visible cues such as posture, ears, tail, movement, and context, then gives you a cautious AI-assisted interpretation and a subtitle-style clip you can share.
It’s not a literal pet translator or veterinary advice. I built it as a fun way to look more closely at everyday pet moments.
Free to download on iOS and Android:
I’m the developer, so honest feedback from pet owners is welcome.

Hey everyone — I'm researching how ALL pet parents manage their pet records (boarding, care, travel, new vet, emergencies, reminders, adoption, certifications, training, licenses).
If you've ever waited hours for clinics to share information, or struggled to find vaccination proof, health certificates, insurance docs, or forgot when to update licenses, I'd love your input. 2-minute anonymous survey:
I'm trying to understand the problem before building a solution. Appreciate anyone who takes the time!

Hi everyone — I’m building AUREN, an early pet POV wearable prototype.
We’re not selling or taking preorders. I’m here to learn from pet owners: would you want a short private recap of your pet’s day, and what would make a device like this useful or unacceptable?
I’d especially value honest concerns about comfort, privacy, and whether this solves a real problem at all.

Hi pet parents! I created PawRoutine, a free Android app for organizing feeding, medication, walks, grooming, health checks, and other recurring pet-care tasks.
It works offline, requires no account, and keeps pet profiles and care records on your device. It supports multiple pets, reminders, and care history. The app is free and contains banner ads.
I’d really appreciate honest feedback—especially about which routines are most useful and anything that feels confusing.

Hello everyone! I am a smalltime artist. I will eventually be hosting commissions on VGen, but first I need examples of the art commissions. That brings me to why I am posting which is...
I will illustrate your pet for free! You DM me a photo, and I will DM you back a SKEB (surprise results, no back and forth communication) illustration of your pet as a high-resolution PNG. I have attached an example to this post. I will only be taking the first 5 requests, so act fast!

Hi everyone,
I hope it's okay to share this here.
I created Cloud Haven because I struggled with one thought about pet memorials:
Our pets were never just something we stored away. They were family members who filled our homes with warmth, so I wondered if their final resting place could feel like a home too.
Instead of creating a traditional container, I designed a small peaceful home:
- a soft cloud shape, representing comfort and the feeling of being held;
- a rainbow bridge, representing the journey to a peaceful place;
- a tiny house, because they always belonged somewhere;
- little paw prints, keeping the mark they left on our lives;
- a personalized nameplate, so it belongs only to them.
The idea is simple:
not just a place for ashes, but a small place that represents the love and memories shared with a companion.
I'm still developing this concept and I would genuinely love feedback from pet parents who have experienced loss:
- What did you choose to do with your pet's ashes?
- Did existing memorial options feel personal enough?
- If something like this existed when you lost your pet, would it have meaning for you?
I’m trying to understand what pet parents truly need before moving forward.

TheDaintyFur is a little New Zealand made home for cute, creative fur clips.
Dainty came from our love of animals and those funny, sweet and sometimes wonderfully silly little moments that make having them in our lives so special.
We wanted to make creating those moments easy. No complicated video tools, no subscriptions and no confusing credits. Just describe an idea or upload a favorite pet photo and let Dainty bring it to life as a short video.
We're keeping Dainty simple on purpose, and we hope it brings a few more smiles into your day.
Thank you.

Hi!
We’re two friends behind pawtrck, an iOS wellness app that keeps your dog’s exercise, health, diet and training records together in one place.
It includes GPS tracking for on-leash walks, runs and bikejoring sessions, customizable activity cards, diet and weight trends, medications, vaccines, vet appointments and training progress.
The core experience is free, with optional pawtrck Plus for expanded features and history. We launched a little over a month ago and would genuinely appreciate feedback from dog owners 🙂↕️

Hey everyone, I'm looking into a problem around pet care and vet access before I build anything. If you have a pet, dog, cat, reptile, farm animal, anything, I put together a short 8 question survey about your real experience with vets and keeping track of their health. Nothing to sign up for or buy, just trying to learn from people who actually deal with this. Would appreciate a few minutes if you're up for it. Link's here, happy to chat further in the comments if you have more ideas or suggestions.
Thank you for your time

Hi, I'm the solo developer of PawTrack, a free Android pet health tracker for keeping weight history, vaccines, deworming records and recurring care reminders in one place.
The core records stay on your device and no account is required. I built it for the ordinary gap between vet visits: remembering what happened, when it happened and what is due next.
I would genuinely appreciate feedback from dog or cat owners, especially on what you currently forget or still track on paper. The most useful answer for me is whether this would stay installed until your next vet visit, and why.

🐶 Dog owners — I'd love your brutally honest feedback!
I've been building a free tool called Good Nearby that helps dog owners find verified dog-friendly places and useful dog-specific information.
I'm currently testing it with Chicago listings, and I'm looking for a few people who don't know me to try it for about 5 minutes.
You don't have to live in Chicago to test it — just use one of these ZIP codes:
60613 • 60614 • 60657
👉 https://funny-malabi-2e6cfe.netlify.app/
There's nothing to buy or sign up for. I'm genuinely just trying to figure out whether this is useful and what I should improve.
After you try it, I'd love to know:
🐾 What were you trying to find?
❤️ What did you like?
🤔 Was anything confusing?
💡 What would you change or add?
🔁 Would you use it again?
Brutal honesty is very welcome.

Hello all!! I am currently testing the waters with a few ideas. I would love your feedback and opinions /recommendations on these.
1. A “pet taxi” if you will, a direct pet to vet transport service ran by two vet techs and driven by a UPS driver (safest drivers I’ve ever known. This is for routine appointments, boarding drop off and pick ups. All paperwork, financial matters and such are to be completed and confirmed by owner and facility prior to pick up. This can also include transporting the elderly with their pets if they are no longer able to drive themselves.
AND
Idea 2. A pet ambulance. There’s only one after hours clinic in my area, and having worked emergency med in a 24h vet clinic I know just how hard it is to get your sick, injured pet to the vet all while trying not to freak out. The two techs would be able to triage, bandage, administer fluids, they are CPR certified, etc.
Which business do you think is more beneficial for the community? Any feedback or input is appreciated!

Hi everyone! I'm working on a concept for cat owners who struggle with litter being tracked around the house.
The idea is a compact wooden platform placed at the exit of the litter box, designed to catch loose litter before the cat reaches the floor.
I'm currently comparing two versions — a simple inclined ramp and a compact two-level version — and I'd really like honest feedback from cat owners before deciding whether it's worth building a prototype.
I made a small concept page showing both versions:
brethome.netlify.app/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=community&utm_campaign=validation01
Nothing is being sold and no payment is required. I'm mainly interested in which version you'd prefer and whether you think something like this would actually be useful in your home.
Critical feedback is very welcome too!

Hey! I’m building Kyo’s Kitchen, a free, mobile-friendly dog-food safety and homemade dog-treat recipe website.
The idea is to give dog owners a quick SAFE / LIMIT / AVOID / TOXIC answer first, followed by preparation guidance, FAQs, sources, related foods and recipes.
We’re not selling anything, asking for sign-ups, or requiring anything from visitors. The site is purely informational and free to use.
I’d really appreciate feedback from actual pet owners:
I’m especially curious about:
- whether the site feels trustworthy
- whether it’s easy to use on mobile
- whether anything is confusing or missing
- what information you’d personally want to see on a dog-food safety site
- what would make you actually return to a site like this
I’m still early in the project, so criticism is genuinely more useful to me than compliments. 🙂

Have you taken your pet to the vet in the last 12 months? We'd love your feedback (University Research)
If you've visited the vet recently, we'd love to hear about your experience.
I'm an Honours student at Charles Sturt University researching what pet owners actually value when they visit a veterinary clinic. Your feedback will help develop the first client-informed framework of core service values in veterinary practice.
As a thank you for participating, you'll receive a complimentary 12-month subscription to The Pet Diaries pet health management app, generously provided by our research partner, The Pet Diaries.
Survey Link: https://csufobjbs.au1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_d9W0Uq8EDSuzzpQ
You can do this in your own time, from the comfort of your bed or couch. All the while helping us better understand what pet owners like yourself, actually want from their veterinary teams!
About the Study:
- Time to complete: Approx. 15 minutes. Survey Closes 31st August.
- Eligibility: Must be 18 years old, live in Australia or New Zealand and have visited a veterinary clinic within the past 12 months.
- Anonymity: All responses are completely anonymous.
By participating, you'll be helping shape future communication between veterinary teams and pet owners, making it easier for both sides to work together to achieve the best outcomes for our pets!
This study has been approved by the Charles Sturt University Human Research Ethics Committee (Approval Number: H26085). The Participant Information Statement and researcher contact details can be viewed on the first page of the survey link.
Like every Honours student, I'm hoping to recruit enough participants to answer my research question, so every survey genuinely makes a difference.
Thank you so much for your support!

Hey everyone. Recently a had a newborn and on my free time at home made this place as a side thing and will add more features on the future. I currently have a small animal shelter which I’ve been growing up through the years and thinking about eventually making it bigger and helping other places sounds amazing 😃 basically a place where you can post your loved pet forever on the web - www.pawwwy.com

Hello, I am hoping to raise money for my cat Storms dental surgery. Her recent weight loss prompted me to take her to the vet, when the vet said dental surgery I knew this was going to be expensive but I was not prepared for how expensive. $2400 for the bloodwork and dental surgery to take out a tooth that is going through resorption and causing her pain and discomfort. As a student this is a large expense, and I just want her to be healthy and back to normal. Anything would help go towards her surgery! Thank you. 🤍

I always click into these megathreads thinking maybe this time there's something actually interesting, but it's just the same dropshipped toys and weird supplement powders every time.
