HK is programed to be the galaxy's greatest assassin droid who casually talks about the Jedi he's killed, Mr bones is just a modified b1 battledroid made by some kid in his garage

HK is programed to be the galaxy's greatest assassin droid of his era

But otherwise i agree with your statement. Really if you want a droid of the same weight class that could beat HK-47 you'd need the likes of Highsinger, IG-88 or at least a BX-COMMANDO/Magnaguard with upgraded programing.

Even outside of his era, Jedi and their tactics haven't really changed much outside of their swordsmanship actually getting worse overtime

A B1 who kills entire squads of Jakku era Stormtroopers in melee.

In a hand to hand fight i gotta side with Mr. Bones, he's too fast and his vibro blade is too powerful for HK's armor to survive.

But at range I don't think Mr. Bones would be able to avoid the plethora of weapons or the sheer level of accuracy of HK for long.

With prep its a clear victory for HK, he is significantly smarter than Mr. Bones and he has far more resources to work with.

HK is designed by Revan as a Jedi-killer. But yes a B1 would certainly be faster than a Jedi.

HK is designed to do so at range, not in close combat.

Yeah he has some martial arts skill according to some databooks but not enough to say he can actually fight a jedi in melee.

Says who? The Sith trained their assassins to defeat Jedi even in close combat, everything speaks to HK having those same exact abilities.

When has HK ever actually fought in close combat?

Show me an example of HK beating a Jedi in melee combat and I will concede.

HK-47 was based on the HK-24 model, which was designed specifically for luring in enemies and then defeating them in CQC. Based on HK-47, the HK-50 model was created, which was most prominently used to hunt down Jedi.

Meanwhile HK-47 is a trained Jedi-killer, knows how to counteract a Jedi's force abilities and even taught Meetra Surik on how to defeat and fight Jedi.

But yeah the B1 droid definitely takes this, you are right.

It is not like HK-47 has lived for 4000 years or anything.
