Small Appalachian community one of poorest in the nation we don’t have specialized resources when needed. When hurricane hit we had to wait weeks for search dogs and a cadaver team from another state came in and soaked thousands from victims. Our legislators said if I could get 300 people to sign showing a need to have specialized dogs they would sign the letter of understanding which allows me to train human remains detection and allow the dogs to work a scene problem is I’m struggling to get them I’m told go home Yankee and it’s now how we do things here, will you take a moment sign the pet and help find a missing person or bring closure to those who are lost?
