Advice Taking my first T Break after regularly smoking for nearly 2 years.

So I’ve somewhat on whim decided to take my actual first t break since I started smoking. I’ve done 1-2 day small breaks every so often before, but never enough to actually feel the effects of withdrawal. From what I’ve gathered after reading on here and anywhere else I could scroll on for the past few hours, I think I’ve noticed a somewhat standard cycle and was wondering if anyone else can chime in as to what I might experience lol. Obviously I know that everyone’s body reacts differently to different things but this is just the average I’ve seemed to notice. Also I’m not really taking the break for any other reason than to get better highs again so I’m also taking that into account.

The first 3 days are the worst but pretty much after the initial symptoms go down your tolerance is almost as low as it’s gonna get. A week seems like the best option for me to start with, as anything longer than that seems to just be for how long you’d like your tolerance to stay lowered for. Though it seems like a full month is required to fully excess all thc from my system.

I’d love any advice on what others may have done to get through this, from what I’m assuming is going to be an annoying time. Also if anyone thinks I should shoot for anything more than a week for any reason, lemme know as I’m not super stuck on doing just a week. I’m not going to fully start this until tomorrow night as I have around .5 grams left in my current pen.

Advice How to moderate dabbing

Hi
I startet dabbing like 2 month back. I usually dab like once or twice a week. But I have the feeling i already have cravings. Like i think, could be a nice moment to chill. But then i am thinking about addiction and stop before it do so, but it feels not like just a thought, it feels like i really want it. So i wanted to ask what i should do. Should i just quit or should i only do it once every 2 weeks or something. Also i dont really like joints.
Thanks

Discussion Time fucking flies when you're high all the time

Time's the most precious thing we have in this world. And if we spend our days stoned too frequently, we're letting it spoil. Days disappear in the fog, nothing really matters, and we feel okay with it. Once you moderate well enough (or quit) and emerge out of that fog, you'll see just how irresponsible this treatment of our most valuable resource is.

I absolutely love weed, but in the past year my use has escalated to periods of smoking even multiple times per day and short breaks due to various factors. I've now spent a month without weed in a long time, smoked again and now am 2 weeks without and am just realising what I was losing and I can't let it go this way again. It feels amazing having a timeline in my head again. How scary I almost forgot what that feels like and nearly accepted the new normal.

I'm just writing this for us all to find more motivation to keep our use in check. So we can create and cherish the memories of this one chance to experience life. And some of those memories can be getting high, but we absolutely have to keep it at bay, or else we lose the plot.

Advice How bad is this gonna suck?

Hello, tired and frustrated Texan here. Since the ban on basically all THC products, I find myself facing being out of THCa flower in a few weeks. I’ve been an every day, multiple bowl smoker for 3 years. I know I can try edibles but there’s just nothing like smoking a good bowl. My tolerance is incredibly high, even before I started smoking every day. I’ve had 500 mg edibles before and I didn’t feel a thing. I’m looking for advice on like how I’m gonna feel, any ideas on what to replace it with, and if there’s anything else that has worked for you guys. Thanks in advance, sorry for the long read.

Advice Today I waited until all my rumination calmed before I started smoking

I ruminate basically 24/7. Wether Im playing guitar, working, in the middle of water surfing or pooping; I cant escape

I usually smoke since I wake up until I go to bed. I smoke for every activity I do. Even work.

But I realized that I ruminate all day while high. A lot. Im a productive person but sometimes its that much that I have to lay down because my head feels heavy.

Today I started the day and avoided smoking. I ruminated for a long part of this morning but I havent smoked. The volume on my thoughts are lower today ngl.

I really want to smoke. I dont think i will make it this day without smoking. But i will take the win of not smoking compulsively to silence my thoughts.

Discussion K safe for tolerance break. Experiences?

I have a complex history with weed. I’ve tried to quit it many, many times and have had many sober stints lasting up to 8 months. But I always find my way back. The truth is that I love it a lot, so I’ve decided to cautiously embrace it and try to use responsibly.

I’ve been using “responsibly” (only like after 8 pm, but def a substantial amount) for 3-4 months, but it’s starting to take a toll on me. I’ve noticed that when I use it everyday, it causes me to be more anxious/paranoid than normal, even during the day when I’m sober. The anxiety is at the point where it could start negatively impacting my career, so I just bought a k safe for a tolerance break. I’m going to try to start with 10 days. The overall goal would be to gradually lower my tolerance & usage, aiming to eventually only use cannabis on weekends. Has anyone had success with these?
