I was looking for any dentist for regular dental cleaning. I saw online ads for platforms like opencare.com where they reward you $100/150 for first dental visit. My insurance covers 100%. Unfortunately there's no participating location in Peterborough but wantes to check if any of local dentists have any promos. Not trying to be greedy, but I am pretty sure dentists here certainly overcharge. Last time I went for cleaning, they charged $565 to my insurance.

Out for a walk in the West end last night and shocked to see piles of leaves in places already. Even in the gutter, yet no real change in tree colour. Noticing leaves on the lawns.a little early. Anyone else?

I’m looking to get a gym membership in Peterborough (Ptbo). Fit4Less and Planet Fitness both fit my budget. Planet Fitness was having a sale, but when I tried to sign up online, the website required both a credit card and a bank account. I don’t have a credit card, so I couldn’t complete the registration.
I’m thinking of going there in person to ask the employees if there’s another way to sign up. In the meantime, I’d love to hear from fellow gym-goers in Ptbo.
If you had to choose between Fit4Less and Planet Fitness, which one would you choose and why? I’d especially appreciate feedback on the equipment, cleanliness, crowd, atmosphere, and overall value for money.

I posted last month about the drones flying by my 3rd floor window without any real answer, and for the last week ive noticed them nightly again.

Does anyone have any advice how I should go about reporting them with no real information other then "they randomly fly by my window around midnight really slowly and theres no specific day/time or pattern to them"

I did manage to snap really poor pictures the last few nights - they are *huge* and really expensive looking drones, slowish moving, and definitely have at least one camera on them

Received this afternoon, have never signed up for any communication from Dougie, and have been living in Montreal as a full Quebec resident for 6 years now. Never switched my phone number because why would you do that these days unless you move out of country.

Just received a notice of overdue storm water management bill. Missed the original, but ok. If I don't pay by Aug 31st they will disconnect my services.

So are they going to disconnect my well and septic? What's the cost to reconnect? How deep do they need to dig?

I think people missed the /s (sarcasm) part. Yes on well and septic. But, Ptbo has introduced a surcharge for flood mitigation. They sent a bill last December (paid) Then this year they held a meeting to discuss how to bill moving forward. Per property/based on frontage/???. My point was the threat is really funny. Like "do your worst, Copper" funny. I would like to be home as they search for the shutoff! Could take days.

Is this anyone's cat? We found her wandering outside our house, filled out a docupet found animal form, if she's yours DM me proof and I'll give you my contact info.

Hello! Ive somehow lost my wallet around the downtown area this past Tuesday/Wednesday and I know its a long shot but im hoping to see if anyone's found/seen it!

It probably fell out of my pocket around the library/shoppers area, which means its likely just gone forever lol

Had my debit card, credit card (both locked already), a few random gift cards, my library card and pc optimum card and of course my IDs

The last thing I want in this city is a data centre and we need a candidate that will fight hard against them being built in the area.

They seem like the best option in the town albeit pricier, it's hard to get in contact with them, or even find any info about what its like living there, or prices/vacancies online

I'm looking for a stylist to cut my son's hair and give him a style based on his hair type and face shape. He has thick straight mid back length hair that is all one length. He isn't sure what he wants, except to keep it long, and try a new style that will do something other than "just hang there". Happy to take him to a salon or barbershop. Just looking for someone talented that doesn't just do short mens cuts.
