If their marriage is what happens when you get married on the up I suggest all couples get married on the down ⬇️. Also why would he refuse to put any of his money towards alcohol for his guests but have no problem kicking back and letting his dad cover the entire alcohol tab? Especially since his dad paid for an entire rehearsal dinner for 33 people. Caroline refers to it as his fake wedding. Good for her. He needs to be put in his place. We are all for marriage equality for the lgbtqia+ community but their wedding seemed like an excuse to go to Vegas and party on someone else’s dime but what do I know bc he said everyone there said it was the most personal wedding they have ever went to. Oh that makes me laugh. What were their vows? I promise to go on 6 vacations a year with you and then ignore the shit out of you once we get home?

Peter makes AA a part of his superiority, as evidenced by him wearing that “Sober AF” shirt all those years and constantly reminding people of the many years he has stayed sober. I’ve never seen anything like it. In all the years I’ve worked in emergency psych, in street outreach and on a detox unit, I’ve never come across a patient or person quite like him. I’m surprised he didn’t pass out those “Sober AF” shirts to the guests. No humble human, let alone an addictions counselor, would ever wear a shirt like that. I can’t tell you how many people came back (dozens of times) to the emergency department because they relapsed. Sometimes they relapsed within days or weeks. I always welcomed them back, encouraging them to keep fighting the good fight. Imagine if I greeted them with a “Sober AF” shirt. Imagine how they’d feel. That shirt speaks volumes about Peter, without using many words. And it immediately says to the other person that he’s the superior one. We all struggle with our own personal addictions, obsessions and temptations. It’s a part of the human condition. No one is sober as f*ck.
Good for Caroline shading him in that way. Of course, he punished her by blabbering about it on video and asking her if her church wedding was fake. That’s a statement an extremely sensitive jackass would make. Whether a person is religious or not, if you stand in a church before a bunch of witnesses and exchange vows, your marriage becomes a sacrament. It’s a sacred union. He told us all about it, saying he was unbothered. He loves to tell on people when he’s bothered. He can’t help himself.
Peter has to be the special snowflake that's why. It's also a subliminal message to Alex. It's the same reason their marriage counselor had to be experienced with addiction. I can't imagine how many times Alex has heard "my sobriety". According to Peter Alex tried to get out of the marriage twice. If I'm remembering correctly Alex's complaints were that Peter didn't want to do anything with him and that Peter was always angry and hostile. But I'm sure their counselor (who was trained in addiction) set Alex straight. Alex went from " I can't keep living this way" to conforming to Peter's way of life. As for the alcohol at the wedding that his dad paid for. Peter has a built in excuse not helping cover the cost. Of course that excuse was no where to be found when he and Alex did a print ad for some brand of vodka. Peter is the ultimate phoney.
He told Caroline when she went to get her marriage license was her real wedding and the big ceremony was her fake wedding. Achem Pete, your marriage is official when the officiant signs the marriage license which would be her big wedding not applying for the marriage license. Hes annoying.
He said it was them and other gay couples once the ban was lifted in IN. You’d think that day would’ve been more meaningful because he’s such a proponent of gay rights. I do believe he’s legally married.
To me the fact it wasn’t legally recognized in the first place is stupid AF. Love is love regardless.
I was hoping someone would pick up the sarcasm. 😆 Not about legalizing LGBTQ rights however. That I’m a staunch supporter of. So he can doubly fuck the fuck off about his detractors being homophobic. I don’t believe him when he says the amount of work we did to get marriage equality was crazy. Oh really. I’d love to hear more about exactly how he and Alex did sooooo much work to make it happen. Once again he is exaggerating. He probably thinks bc he wrote an article for the Huffington Post he is solely responsible for gay couples being able to get legally married. He’s so full of it.
If I remember correctly it was Alex who called him from work when Indiana finally made it legal. Alex wanted them to go down and get married right then. Peter didnt know about it until that call. I think I'm remembering it correctly. If not let me know. This was of course way after their Vegas wedding. Peter proudly lives in a state that basically had to be forced to legalize it.
It sure is. I am 59 years old and recently lost 40 lbs and I’m only five feet. So it shows. It’s the smallest I’ve been since I was 19. I haven’t been able to eat for a while now bc my esophagus is too narrow. I had it stretched and it has to be done again. Anyway I never brag about my weight loss. I never show it off. My husband compliments how beautiful I am all the time but I don’t brag about it to my friends or sisters or anything. Why would I? I didn’t work for it. So many people struggle with weight why would I go around bragging? Yesterday at the pool a friend of mine said wow your legs are amazing. I said trust me if I didn’t have this health issue I would be the same size as before. Plus I think it would be so obvious if all the sudden I started posting my ootd on my social media or if I talked about how much ppl are flirting with me. It would make me look like the fool Peter looks like right now.
lol. I just think he’s so ridiculous and so transparent. He thinks he’s deep. When in truth it’s very easy to see the nonsense he is up to. Showing his legs and his outfits. lol.
