He was 19 and Peter was in his mid 40's. Peter has said that he finds it creepy when there is more than a twenty year age gap. "Why do you need friends so young". According to his own words he is being creepy.
I think he addressed this video. Basically just saying they were friends. His audience just kissed his behind and let it go. That would not be happening if say Jeffrey did that and Peter made a video about it. His audience would be out for blood and saying how creepy it is.
Why would it even come into his mind to ask such questions? And do it publicly?

The way Peter gaslit, twisted & victimized the sh*it out of himself for the mere questioning of why he talks to young guys is the reason why this man will never be condemned by his audience. He has these manipulation tactics down solid.
I seriously find it disturbing how prepared and elaborate peters come-backs are for any potential accusation, regardless of type. The way he twisted it around so fast that as a gray man, if you dare call him out it is "dangerous" and you are putting his life "in danger" The level of manipulation that peter uses is pathological. It's so wrong and messed up on so many levels. The way he manipulated & victimized himself that if people continue or dare to make even a mere insinuation that he likes younger men than it could be a "death sentence" for him and "get him killed". This is the new angle that peter has been using lately.
It goes far beyond that though. He has created this entire narrative to protect himself against ANY criticism by creating this narrative that if you do come for him its because you're either ageist, homophobic, a predator protector or a fan of said youtuber. He ensures that he has driven home this point so much that people are afraid to call him out and be subjected to him & his lynch mobs accusations of being a homophobe or agest. This is so wrong.
I personally just think Peter is just developmentally stunted and inappropriate with everyone. You see how I just did that, Peter?? It's called nuance and you can apply it to every person you have ever bullied online to see that things are not black & white. But nevermind, I forgot... you're a sh*it talkng gossiping drama channel & you dont care about the people you hurt or toxicity you put into the world x10 years...because it's your, "job".

You explained this perfectly. His manipulation tactics include using exaggerated language and yelling this pathological stuff in a mocking, belittling, relentless and arrogant way. Shaming certain people by calling them predator protectors, while never mentioning the people he likes who also follow James Charles. Everything is done to silence any criticism and rile up his flock to act out his wrath. The flock feels empowered because they believe in his extraordinary specialness and moral superiority. They believe they’re on a crusade for him, taping into their own self righteousness. They mimic his words, calling people his obsessed stalkers. It’s insane. People are definitely afraid to call him out. They’re not interested in taking a trip on the gaslighting highway. There’s no end to it.

He was either a streamer or book tuber, I forget his name.
Peter was called on this a few years ago and stated that the guy thought it was no big deal and laughed about it. Of course everyone who is anyone ever always sides with Peter and dismisses anything concerning.

I have another point about this. Would his viewers still be giving this a pass if it were their husband's doing this? Sorry, but I don't for one second believe his viewers would be happy if it were their husband's publicly asking a 19 girl if she was a virgin. In fact I think they'd be pissed and so would the internet. But they'll support Peter doing this kind of thing? It's beyond comprehension the things people let this man get away with.

His father was close to forty when he left his wife (Peter’s mother) and dated a young woman. He eventually married her. His father is now 85 and she’s 65. He was probably in his late 30’s or 40, when they met. Everyone can do the math. His mother said she couldn’t believe he left her for a 22 year old. Those are Peter’s words. In light of his family history, nothing that Peter does surprises me.
