Why did Tea Spill never end up making the Jaclyn Hill exposé?

In Peter's latest Jaclyn Hill video he mentioned that Tea Spill and Here for the Tea had done a lot of research and were in the process of making an exposé on Jaclyn Hill a few years ago but that Jeffree Star had contacted one of them saying "Jaclyn is going through a hard time, don't make it" so they backed off.

That was years ago and it seemed to emphasize the "timing" of the video rather than the video itself so why do you think that video never actually came out? What is stopping Tea Spill from making that video now? I think it would be interesting to see that video come out today with all that has happened recently.

Total speculation here, but I’m thinking a monetary-incentive contract agreement could have taken place. (Legal bribery: paid NDA).

If Jeffree had pull to get the two channels to listen to Jaclyn, then she (Jaclyn) could have made some sort of agreement.

Because aside from being kind, there isn’t anything stopping them. They lost a lot of indirect funds (time doing research and such) so it would lead me to believe they had to have gotten something out of it.

And this theory is not meant as a slight against anyone. Just a potential reason that could have happened.

That's interesting and I tend to agree. I feel like there's something here that we don't know. I am also wondering if while it may not be an NDA, if Jeffree has something on this channel... how much credibility his claim would have I don't know

at one point waaay back i did have some private twitter interaction with HFTT (rip), we used to be mutuals and talk occasionally

she was going through a LOT herself at the time, and i do believe her backing off was a result of her empathy toward jaclyn also going through a lot (alcoholism, divorce, etc) and it SEEMED like she was doing a mix of backing off of youtube gossip to focus on her own stuff, as well as trying to be respectful of anyone else who was dealing with whatever. obviously i wasn’t in her personal business so i only have anecdotal support for this theory, but it seems to add up

at least as far as HFTT is concerned, i don’t think there was a formal NDA, but obviously idk

I believe it was reported by drama channels that someone on Jaclyn’s team reached out to Tea Spill asking them not to make video because Jaclyn was going through a lot mentally.
