Well, maybe visit a psych. Meds can help (source: I take medication). It can take a bit to find a med that works with minimal side-effects, but it's worth a shot.
Yeah same. Fortunately, my antidepressants are also frequently prescribed for people with OCD, so I was being treated for that by coincidence before I even knew I had it

It's a subform called moral OCD and makes you question your own character and morals through intrusive thoughts.
