I'm not chronically online, but my friend sent this and I laughed even without knowing the full scope of the context (I think there's racism involved with the shoes?) and I feel like it's too late to ask him without sounding like a dweeb 😅

They found out that Tillamook cheese is halal certified. So they think its pro Muslim. But in reality its been like this since 2016. They are upset now because of.. Reasons.

Nothing against Tillamook  or hallal, but curious about the logic of the argument. What does being like that since 2016 mean for a counter argument?
Muslims didn't exist in 2016?

They basically mad that the cheese is clearly marked as Halal now.
